11/2 Zener PMPS 237;+2 266;+5.5 367 Dose? A Trak

Today is looking a lot like yesterday morning - pink but quick to yellow. Paws crossed we see some blue today!

Zener was very excited to eat this morning, and quickly puked it back up. He was undaunted though and ate again 20 minutes later, keeping it down. All seems to be settled now. He is consistently eating 8-9% carbs the past few days, so we are delighted. The 11% MC was enough mostly to steer the last time we needed to do so.

This is his 6th cycle at the 0.75u. We certainly noticed bounce behavior after he earned this reduction and the past couple of cycles have looked remarkably similar. We're not quite sure if the bounce has broken and this is the dose working or not. We would love to see more blue numbers but also don't want to manipulate his dose too quickly as he has been up and down in the past. So, we'll see how things look over the next few cycles. :roll:

On his way down! It is all a waiting and guessing game huh? Tarragon is a bouncer and it takes about 8 cycles before I really see what the dose is doing. Glad you got your patience pants on and are ready to wait it out.

Linda, Devon and Melissa, thanks for stopping in and encouraging Zener! He has followed his LL aunties' advice and is in the blues!

Thanks for the bounce cycle info Melissa. I know ECID, but it's nice to see Zener acting a little bit like other kitties. We are noticing some nice steady movement today and we are staying the course, with our flannel patience pants today - our weather is in the 40s today with teens expected tonight!

Celi - when we got Zener at age 5 weeks, his eyes were still blue like the picture!

Not a bad cycle today, considering things started with pukus! It's been a mostly yellow-blue cycle. We are waiting patiently for a few more cycles to see if this dose is going hold. @-)

Starting off our 7th cycle at the 0.75u. We much prefer yellow to pink, but would like to see some blues and greens. We're having trouble looking at Zener's numbers and deciding if he is still bouncing or if perhaps the dose is just not quite enough. Would love some experienced eyes to take a look. We reduced from f0.75 to 0.75 after an earned reduction. Any advice or suggestions welcome.

Well, we're going the wrong way - 367 @ +5.5 tonight. Starting to look like the last time we went to 0.75 and it didn't hold.
Also, tonight at his injection, I smelled insulin and his fur was a little damp. Thought it might be from a little insulin on the needle from squeezing out drops but maybe I missed the shot a little. I suppose time will tell. :YMSIGH:
