11/6 Willie PMPS 136, +3~114

Yesterday's Condo

Willie continues to do great. We felt last night's OK earthquake here in KC... the sofa started shaking and I assumed Willie was just being a bit too vigorous with his bathing, or was scratching his ear... only when I reached up to pet him, no Willie! :shock: :shock: We've spent much of the morning snoozing and he was outside, but just came hauling tail into the house, so I suspect his "friend" the golden retriever must be out as well! Headed out to check out a new church this morning, then more leaf work this afternoon.

Sorry I haven't been on much... I've just had some things happen that have me needing to think and reflect (and as I am a good Iowan who has been raised to properly bury all my feelings, it is a painful process! :lol: :lol: :lol: ), and so I'm trying to spend less time on the interwebs and more time taking care of myself both physically and emotionally for a bit. Please know I'm thinking of my Lantus Land family and will be keeping Willie's condo updated.

Sounds like too much German heritage. :lol: :lol: I have that problem. I love my German heritage. It's great for most things, not so great for some things. Good for you for taking care of yourself. That's very important. Glad to see Willie doing so well. He's such a sweetheart.

Willie is doing great ! Even with the earthquake, I wonder what he thought of that? :shock:

You guys are the best! I merely tell my sister that I'd like a weekend to myself with her not moving in for 3 days, and that apparently her cue to call me non-stop and get my mom in on the action as well. :roll: :roll: :roll: Egads.

Didn't quite get everything accomplished that I would have liked, but got the front yard leaves into the street (backyard will have to wait a couple weeks... there were just too many!), checked out a new church, am on my 5th load of laundry and managed to walk/run 3 miles each day.

Willie has spent much of the night outside catching crickets. Not sure what his issue is...was out of LC food today so he got a special treat of Grammy's Pot Pie, which of course, he promptly turned his nose up at! :shock: :shock: :shock: Made a batch of raw food, which he is now trying to protest as well. Funny how the GPP disappeared while I was at church, hoping he's snacking on the raw now since the lights are off and I'm in bed, so it's clear that no other vittles are forthcoming! :lol: :lol: :lol: Looks like it might be time for BTCs... no surprise there as he's been by my side every moment I've been seated/lying down this whole weekend!

Those human families.... can't live with em and can't kill em. :lol: :lol: :lol:
Fur families are so much less drama! Hang in there Christie, or maybe "hang on" with all that shaking going on. And Willie, you are being a very good boy and helping your bean with such lovely numbers!
