hi LL Family,
just a quick note to ask if you could keep Rocket's brother Comet in your prayers....he is at the vet and will have the second surgery ...this is the one inside the ear....to remove the lump....

prayers much appreciated

Rocket's AMPS 189

he has lost some weight and i'm still monitoring his food intake...sociable otherwise...so continue to pray for him as well....

prayers being sent out to Jill & Mike.....Tawny and everyone else here at LL that needs them....

(((Claudia))) I've been thinking about you and Comet all morning. I'm praying for a quick successful surgery and have your baby home tonight. Also prayers for Rocket - I hope he's eating better. Try not to worry, but update us when you can.

Claudia - I am just catching up on Comet. I am so sorry about all the issues. Hoping the surgery goes well today!! ((((Claudia)))) Our lab, Charlie, is having surgery today as well, but on his acl, so I feel for you and know how anxious you must be. Know I am thinking about you.

Comet is out of surgery as per the vet tech. I have not spoken with his vet yet. All i know is that he is sleeping and hopefully can come home tonight.....for those of you who may not know...Comet is our 14 1/2 yr old dog.....I will for sure be asking for pain meds for him tonight...most likely we will be given Metacam...which is OK cause he is a DOG...if it were Rocket, i would say NO to metacam.....

looks like we will have a rough night tonight in anticipation of Comet being uncomfortable.....so hopefully this time the pain med will help him....

i'm anxious for him to be home......

What a relief to know that Comet is finished with his surgery and hopefully, will be able to come home tonight where he will be more comfortable with his loving family taking care of him.

Comet is home. Results from Saturday's lump removal came back normal. We will find out next week on today's lump removal. He is groggy and we will give Metacam for the pain. For now no treatment for the suspected Cushing's diagnosis....fingers crossed that's not what he has....

i'm soooooo tired....trying to have a nap before the last round of meds for the kids here.....
