Zener is being a very helpful office assistant again this morning. He's great, he works on weekends without complaining at all. Unbeknownst to me, he was hanging out in the Man Cave (the mostly enclosed space under the chair) and kind of surprised me when he came out to get on the filing cabinet to get to work. :lol: :lol: Thinking of Jill & DH, Charlie (I hope Melissa is recovering from the shopping), Comet, Willow, and others who are ailing. Zener is keeping the bean on her toes, with man cave surprises! :lol: This morning has a nicer landscape than last night, but we're still looking for a sunny day with brilliant flashes of blue.

Thank you, Lisa, Linda, Tena and Michelle! Zener has heeded your excellent advice and made a quick dive to the blue floor! His inattentive bean forgot the +1 test and he didn't remind me. I gave him some 10%, hope that slows things down. I LOVE the man cave accessory! How did that cat get up there? I can't imagine Zener being up there. With his cerebellar hypoplasia, he has poor balance and can't climb. :smile: He's going to want some decorations now. We'll have to think about that.

We dedicated today's 'Peanut's Healing' to beautiful Zener! You two amazing people have just filled a hole that I thought was going to remain only filled with tears....bless you and THANK YOU again!!!! Peanut is on her last day of antibiotics but will continue to get extra vitamins for quite some time.

Hi Ann, "wow" is what we thought too! So nice to be in the healing numbers today. We are wondering if the 80 was a low reading or the 17% brought him up that much. Or maybe he's just a cat! Anne is taking over now as I'm going for a walk.

Well, looks like it may have been the 17% that gave us that spike in 30 minutes at +5. In the recent past we could give him 17% with little change and would have to pull out the honey treats. It seems how Zener is reacting to carbs is changing a little and we can use lower % carbs to steer. :-D We switched back to 8% and he dropped a little bit after 30 minutes, but perhaps starting to surf? We can only hope! :lol: It's lovely to see green and would like him to get there without the express elevator! :o

We are expecting to see him bounce off these greens and his big drop. So I am writing it in Zener's condo with hopes he reads it, or gets a text message from one of his LL buddies, and surprises us with a nice flat surf and more good cycles. :roll:

Way to go Zener!!! Woohoo! What a great day for the little guy. Finally huh?

I recovered barely. Unfortunately it will take my bank account a little longer. :lol: It was a huge success and none of us got hurt. We went out at 1 am and were back by 8 am. Of course then DH decided we needed to do yardwork, go to the casino, and have a homemade pizza night. I was exhausted.

No cheese babies left. Only lots and lots of turkey.

I hope Zener keeps up the good work. Tarragon needs to take a few pointers. Have a great night guys!

Wow, were we ever surprised by that 80 this morning! We are hopeful this means NDW is past and the dose is starting to work for the big guy. Our guest leaves on Tuesday, so we will be especially watchful for what may happen with his numbers when all gets back to "normal".

We pulled out the 17% since this was quite the drop early and we we would like to try to prevent or reduce his bouncy behavior. More testing to come. ~O)

The 17% slowed the first big drop, then we switched to 11% like we did in the am cycle, to see if we could surf. Surprise, surprise - another drop to green. So back to 17%. Will get another test shortly. Wondering when the bounce will come this time? @-)

Could be a Sunday night post-T-giving PJ party in the works. ~O)
