Good morning LL and happy Sunday,

Miss Bailey had some nice blue numbers overnight and is continuing them (so far) today. When she bounces she seems to be clearing it faster lately which I think is good.

And we made it to green! Bailey did vomit up some of her food earlier but seems to be fine now.

You might want to get a test at +5. I'd also suggest feeding a small amount of LC -- about a teaspoonful. It should encourage Bailey to surf.

I gave Bailey a little extra LC at +6, she is having a nice surf today which is great!

How do I know when to give food to manage the curve? This is something I can do to prevent bouncing, correct?

Generally, if you see numbers coming down into green ranges, giving a bit of LC can cause the drop to slow down and it may level out. It may and I underscore "may," prevent a bounce. There is no way to know whether that will happen. Bounces are a normal part of the process. Some cats don't bounce very much. Others have elevated bouncing to an art form.

Bounces can be caused by any lower number the liver isn't used to so IF she does bounce, don't get discouraged. Kitties can bounce off blue even if they got there slowly.

Doing great!!! Gorgeous curve today.
