Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,
I took Rusty back up to a skinny 2.00 last night because his numbers on 1.75 were drifting upward and I didn't want him to lose momentum. Well, judging from today's AMPS of 76, I guess that extra little bit of insulin did a big job, or else he was about to clear his "accelerating" bounce presumably brought on by the vet visit, or else he was making up for the possible fur shot yesterday morning (maybe it wasn't a fur shot). Maybe, maybe, maybe, if, if, if, or else, or else, or else . . . Whatever! I decided that since only one skinny-2.0-unit shot was involved, that I would compromise and try to shoot a fat 1.75 this morning. We'll see what happens. Any thoughts? I think I will try to count drops (using an old cartridge for practice) and see if I can learn to be more consistent.
Rusty had a good night's sleep in his "spot" on the bed, snuggled into the quilt between our shoulders. We had a good test, breakfast (Wellness Turkey, 2 sittings), shot, and a brief brushing and a play with Big Bug. Now he is on his little "day bed" next to the radiator. He loves this little bed, which is way too small for him. I bought it in the hardware store!!
It's pretty cold here this morning (19 degrees with a dusting of snow on the ground) and it looks like it will be a beautiful, sunny day. We may go over to one of the X-country ski areas, where they are having their pre-season sale. I am not happy with my present snowshoes and may get new ones and want to see what they have.
Wishing everyone a good day and sending healing vines to all kitties and beans who can use some.
