12/8 KT PMPS 292 QUESTION/OPINION PLZ - THX

AMPS 275

That AMPS isn't TOO bad considering the ugly huge bounce he did yesterday afternoon and evening. It would be nice if he handed me a blue today but I don't really anticipate it. (hear that KT???)

Looks like I got the leak fixed - this is about the 6-7th one this year. 'Sharkbite's' are the absolutely BEST inline connections anyone has EVER made for plumbing connections. They actually push onto the ends of the pipe - the design causes them to grip the pipe TIGHTER when there's water pressure against them. They're the only connection that's actually allowed BY CODE to be installed and sealed up in a wall. There are a couple of other brands with the same design but the Sharkbite is SO much better. I can only buy them at HomeDepot - Lowes carries 'GatorBite' but they're just not as well made. They're sort of pricy but if you figure they'll last forever and ever, they're SO worth it.

Starting off pretty well and not too far from blue territory.

And I love that I learned about plumbing connections. I made a note of this. Sharkbite... at Home Depot. Cool!

QUESTION/THOUGHTS PLEASE:

If you look at KT's spreadsheet, you'll see occasional unpredictable LOWS at AMPS like the 56 on 12/7. I believe this occurs toward the end of the pm cycle rather than early - this is why I don't see any indicators of action at pm+2 tests. I'm considering moving his shot times to 10am/pm which will let me test those late hours of the pm shot. If he IS sleeping too soundly and not waking up and eating, this should help that too. I will probably very rarely get a pm+1/+2 unless we're dancin' a quickstep already. Thoughts please...

Hi Lyresa,
I can't reply to your quesion except to ask if those occasional low readings might be owing to a bad strip. Do you retest when you get unusual or unexpected readings? It might help to move the shot times (1/2 hour a day; 15 minutes a cycle) so that you can get more data. See what the experts say.

Many cats run into lower numbers during the PM cycle. It may be the case for KT. It's possible when you're getting those lower numbers, it's due to a bounce breaking.

I agree I think that may be the case with KT. I've moved it up several times so I could get pm +2 and even +3 early in the cycle but I am beginning suspect these occur late cycle instead. If I move it to 10pm, I should be able to get a +9 to +9.5 fairly often. I need to head those lower numbers back up sooner - I don't like him handing me those super low numbers when I know he should be on the way UP.
