We had a good bit of yellow yesterday. That PM+2 was a bit surprising. I wish I had retested, but alas, I didn’t think of it until too late. This morning’s AMPS came in at 341. With the regret for not retesting last night fresh, I redid this morning and got a 282. OK, I’ll take it! I am having a great deal of trouble getting comfortable with the meter margin of error. That something I don’t want to see (341) and something that pleases me (282) or even possibly something that would make me smile all day (a low-mid 200) can be the same thing, just boggles my mind!

We are still awaiting results of the iaa and acro tests. I suspect the lab didn’t get them in time to run last Wed.

We all do it, except if we are running out of strips. :lol: Yellow is a great way to start the day Weezer.

Meters drive you nuts, at least as you get the numbers down the difference isn't so much.

Looking Very Good in Yellow today Weezer!!! Hoping for some blue real soon!!
I have tried others, but still go with accucheck aviva.--I know you are looking for very specific results & totally understand your reasons.

Nice start for Weezer! You do seem to get a wider variation than most...hopefully something will eventuall settle out for you on that issue.

She's showing a bit more yellow with this higher amount of insulin. That's a good sign. Hoping for a break for you both very soon. Hang in there. :YMHUG:

ah yes.... so AGREED on IE - I too use Firefox - rarely screws up.

so agreed too on meter variance... i can boggle the mind, so I elected to ignore it. :lol: :lol: unless of course one test is so out of whack :shock: that I need to retest. :razz:

I like the yellow amps Weezer,... now work the juice OK?

Weezer has been seeing more yellow lately which is great! And hey, if you get pink, just retest until it's yellow! :lol: :lol:

I like seeing more and more yellow and can't wait to celebrate blue.

As for meter variance, I find it to be true for myself as well and it can really cause problems for me when I get a higher than normal reading since I always correct myself with insulin. What I find is that if I compare 2 meters and there is a huge variance, enough for me to make a correction of more than 1 unit of insulin, I take the average of the 2 and it seems to work. With cats, we do not make corrections so we have to look at trends and going by nadirs is also very helpful. Fortunately, when we get to those lower numbers, the variance is so much less and those lower numbers are the goal so hang in there. I know it is frustrating but you will get there. FWIW, I am finding that the Relion Confirm is very close to my Precision meter which is more accurate than the FS ever was. Yes, I am still comparing every now and then.
