Good Morning, Everyone,

I'm a bit late this morning: took a nap after breakfast. We are not used to eating so much rich party food all evening and then getting up at the "usual FD time"!! The Xmas party was lots of fun.

Rusty has a great AMPS, had a good test, breakfast, shot, and then took a nap with me. It is so dark outside because of the horrible weather: 45 degrees, murky, raining, very windy; the tiny amount of snow we had on the ground is now gone, so it looks even darker. Rusty will want to go out, but then will probably want to come back in right away. We're about to go and take a look outside.

Everyone have a good day today. Not much planned here. I absolutely must get started on my Xmas shopping. I may bake another batch of cookies later.

Glad you had fun at the party. FD still calls though, no matter how late you stay up huh? I bet the food was wonderful and am sure the company was even better.

Rusty went outside about 20 seconds, got as far as the steps up to the garden, and then turned around and galloped back into the house! I think a gust of wind scared him.

Cookie baking is indeed going to take place this afternoon. The kitties are calling for "cimmamum" cookies, so I'm going to bake 2 batches, one for the kitties and one for Xmas. "Cinnanuts". It's an old recipe that my mother got from one of her friends. It is my favorite Xmas cookie. I'll post the recipe in the Loose Lips condo.

Nice AMPS RUSTY!!!! And I do not blame you for running back inside.

Sounds like a perfect day to bake cookies and I saw Tobey head out with his ear muffs and gloves and special coat to keep him warm. He said he heard his Auntie Ellabean was making cimmamum cookies "just for her Tobes".
Gotta check out the recipe but I know I can never make them the same way for him just because they won't have that special Auntie Ellabean touch :lol: :lol:

Hi again,
Rusty is having a good day. He's been playing up a storm with Big Big, Ronnie Mouse, Fat Gray Mouse (rat?) with Pink Ears, and a shoebox I put down for him that he thinks he can fit into (but can only sit in it!). He enjoyed his lunch (a mix of Wellness Turkey and FF T&G). Now he is napping in his basket. The "Cinnanuts" are in the oven, and after they come out I will take Edward to his weekly appt. with the chiropractor. Then to the wine store to buy some champagne for New Year's Eve (before they sell out). Xmas shopping will have to wait another day.

I see kitty faces at the door. The cookies are almost done and the kitties sure do have that "6th sense".

Rusty is cruisin' along in green. It must be all that cinnamon!! The kitties were here this afternoon--a busload. They were a big help in the kitchen. I sent them on their way with a big bag of Cinnanuts. Hope Tobey doesn't eat all of them!!

I'm sure those kitties were a big help with the cookies. :lol: :lol: I'm sorry about all your rain. Ugh! Poor Rusty, that wind rustling his fur! Skiing was great. We are about 12" ahead of our normal snow amount so we are very happy about that. He we get some more this weekend.

What a great day for 'Rusty. We had rain today too, not enough for a good soak just enough to be soggy and cold. You had the right idea to beinside and w/ the oven on.
