Good Morning!

All's well in Jetta's world except for another high pink sunrise. I think last night's shot was "off" it felt really thick when I went in if that makes any sense. Would also explain her increase at +2.5 last night which is NOT normal for her. She continues to eat well and sweetly woke me at 2 am for fuds. cat_pet_icon She's back to sleeping on my pillow full time now so a few cold noses to the forehead works like a charm

And then- OT-little Raisin cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam It's a good thing she's cute (how many times have any of us said that to a misbehaving furchild?) I caught her peeing in the dirty laundry this morning. Someone-I wasn't sure who- has been about once a week peeing in blankets, dirty clothes, our luggage pre-vacation etc. And I caught the little urchin this morning. I unceremoniously scooped her up-she had just started- so I got peed on as well as a 20 foot streak through the house as I rushed to the nearest litterbox and tossed her in. Of course by then she had turned off the spigot and she just stared at me like "what"? So it was a standoff- and finally 5 minutes later she gave in and finished- in the box. Now to figure out how to fix this issue permanently....

I'm sure most of you are busy with Holiday festivities today and I wish you all a wonderful day full of love and lightheartedness. Many thoughts and hugs go out to all kitties and beans who are struggling this holiday season. May you find comfort, peace, and healing.

Sorry for the laughter, but I had the exact same experience with Miss Fannie yesterday morning...
except with Binks running along beside us for "moral support"

wishing you happy holidays!

Hmmmm.....

Sounds like your kitty is "pissed" off. (Sorry!) You might thing about Cat Attract litter. Is there anything that's interfering with Raisen getting to the box? Is Jetta keeping her out of the box? Is the box clean enough for Raisan? And, does she need a vet visit to rule out any plumbing problems?

Sorry to hear you had a similar encounter Celi!!!

Thanks Sienne for the thoughts. I have 3 boxes and 4 cats (that's been my standard number any other times I've had 4 cats) and all 3 were vacant at the time it happened. They're spread out also, so I don't think there's any "guarding" going on. This WAS before I made it to the post-breffis scooping and 2 boxes had poo, so maybe that was her issue. BUT this afternoon I watched her "digging" a lovely place to squat in the towel that is UNDER one of the boxes and both towel and box were spotless. So I calmly lifted her into the box and she peed no problemo. I think there's a cat attract herb and I'll try that- I use the breeze system so adding litter isn't really an option. If it continues I'll definitly have her plumbing checked. She's going in for her spay and pre-spay bloodwork in 3 weeks anyway.

We had litter box problems with Zener not too long after his diagnosis. Because of his CH, his legs were weak to start with and with the FD and high numbers, his legs got even weaker. Getting to the box in time became a problem and he would often squat in front of his box and pee. We tried the Cat Attract litter and if we placed him in the box, he would stay and do his business, but he much prefers using piddle pads in his litter box.

I'm sorry to hear about the lb issues. It can be frustrating, to say the least! I hope you get it figured out soon, and that is not a health problem. Jetta dropped nicely at +2. I hope she slides a bit more, without causing any Christmas Eve drama!

Raisin is a little rascal! Very frustrating for you, that's for sure. Jetta is getting some nice action. Nice and easy, slide on down. Have a nice evening.
Liz

Oh no Raisin! I know how frustrating lb issues are. Tarragon used to have "issues" as well, but only on carpet. Now we have no carpet. Good luck! Have a great holiday!!
