Yesterday was one awesome roller coaster ride!

DH and I had a great time on a day trip to St. Augustine, a Christmas gift from our DS. It was the first time Weezer has been alone for more than a couple of hours since her diagnosis.

When we got home Weezer was in the living room. That alone was a huge surprise. We left her in the master suite. The kitty door between the living room and master suite is actually just a hole in the door that DH carefully calculated so that Weezer can go through, but our somewhat portly Doobie can not fit through. That was several months ago. Since then, hummm, how to put this…well, there’s more of Weezer to love these days. We didn’t think she could fit through her kitty door anymore. Lately she has been making her desire to come into the living room known by scratching at the door. So we were quite surprised to see her lounging on the couch.

But that was nothing to our surprise at the 129 on the meter when I tested her. :shock: I tested again, it was no hokey pokey. :shock: :shock: After much reflection, I have figured out what happened. A couple of days ago I wrote in her condo “Tomorrow we will be away for most, or all, of Weezer’s AM cycle. Given her history I feel confident that she won’t dive while we are gone.” So now I want to announce that yesterday was obviously a one time event that can’t possibly be repeated. Got that Weezer? I’m confident you can’t go blue again.

She got her full dose last night. The PMPS was her lowest PS to date, but was rising from the +10. So anyway it was beautiful, but it is history. By last night’s +2 she was bouncing. This morning’s AMPS, which is still in the bounce from yesterday’s lows, is lower than yesterday’s AMPS. Now that is just plain awesome.

I am off of work until Tues. and was planning to try using some R when Weezer is over 300 at AMPS, but considering yesterday’s events, I didn’t use any this morning.

Was Weezer feeling rather pleased with herself yesterday? Hope today is a good one.

If this is as high as Weezer is going to bounce, that's wonderful!! Don't get frustrated -- a bounce can last 72 hours (or less). What I would encourage is that once the bounce clears, you need to keep on top of the dose in order to break through the insulin resistance.

Wow. Makes you wonder how low she got while you were gone. I agree Linda I don't think she can do it again! (you hear that Weezer? It's a challenge!) And such a polite way of saying your girl is getting chub! :lol: :lol:

Hi Weezer come on down from the pink floor soon I use R for Do Lou quite often when he is in the 300s just kinda depends on his cycle

Well it is nice to know Weezer can get down in blue territory. I was so excited to see those numbers. Hoping she clears the bounce soon and comes back down.
