Good morning LL and happy Caturday,

I reeeeally wanted to just go ahead and increase her this AM, but I managed to hold out. The threat has been made though, she is getting more juice tonight (6 cycles of new juice complete). I am so over these numbers!

I am going to try to finish up the slides for my presentation this weekend  I am speaking to a group of nurses, who are pursuing a pain management certification, about the pharmacology of pain management drugs. Sounds exciting, right? I totally got roped into it (I didn't volunteer) so I have been procrastinating it... only 10 days left though so it needs to be close to finished this weekend. :YMSIGH:

I hope you all are doing well, and have a great day! Paws crossed for Zener's ultrasound today.

Wishing for better numbers for Bailey. You will get there.

Your presentation interests me since I am on pain meds and have been for many years. It is a very important topic for anyone dealing with patients in chronic pain. Good for you for educating people about this. I wish there was more info for the patient.

Good luck with the dosecrease if Bailey does not listen today.

Your presentation sounds fantastic!! I would love to see it if you have it in a format that you can PM. As you know, I'm always trying to get more info for my DM for her pain mgmt.

Sure hope Bailey listens up.

Re: 1/14 Bailey AMPS 272, +2 281

Thanks for the presentation enthusiasm! You guys are great :-D I am trying to get motivated so that helps.

I am nervous about it because it is 2 hours  to a group of 30 RNs :o We have a lot of education opportunities at the hospital, and I will usually volunteer if it is for patient education or a small-group type of thing - this is a little more intimidating. But my boss asked me point-blank if I would be willing to do it so... here I am  Marje & Rosalie, I will be happy to send it to you both when it is done, it will be in PowerPoint format.

Bailey is going to be flat yellow again today :YMSIGH: so I should be able to get a lot done!

I know you know more about those meds then the nurses!!!

PPT is perfect!!! Thanks!

Re: 1/14 Bailey AMPS 272, +2 281

A tip I heard about public speaking is, if you are intimidated, imagine your audience is naked. It didn't help me, but I thought I would pass it along.

We went up to 0.25 units tonight, I am relieved to be doing something about these numbers. Hopefully this will be the push she needs.

Linda, the naked thing never worked for me either - too distracting. I try to find one or two friendly faces and just talk to those people  and if I give them handouts, they will have something to look at besides me!

I am probably headed to bed but will get up for a +2 or +3. Ni Ni LL I-)
