Well there is no telling if Attie came down last night or surfed those pink numbers? Although he did roust me from bed at about 1am and a dropped down extra food for him. He did not eat it  . This morning he was a bit cranky and swatted at me, Mudcat's butt, and Gary's backside as they cavorted down the hallway to breffis! He also beat up the blue mouse laying on the kitchen floor. He turned his nose up again at breffis and I told him, "It is what it is ...now eat it." And he turned around and went back to the bowl to eat  .

So I wonder if we're getting another flair up? We're doing the 1000mg. lysine like Karrie's information supported?

Well, rain today. Pouring rain :-| . It is gonna make for a long wet day for me. 5 dogs on the line for walks today including Buddy first thing this morning. Temperature is to be around 50F, but it will still seem brutal cold as the ground is frozen. It will make for rain and cold fog. These are the days my bones ache and they just sap my energy even when I stay inside. Well, it is going to be a two Aleve day and a thermos of ...coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chicken soup...? I used to carry a change of pants and socks for day like today, but when it is going to be all day it wasn't worth the effort!

So here is how I'll handle Buddy this morning, since he has only met me in my winter gear and change in clothes today will likely freak him out. This morning we'll where the winter gear into the house and carry the rain gear in. Get Buddy down to the service room and change out in front of him, then head out for our first real walk. That way he can see what I am doing, check out the different attire, re-acquaint, and hopefully relax to take a walk in the rain and go play in some big puddles! He is a lab puppy and should not mind the rain.

I've always felt sorry for my neighbors walking their dogs in the rain. I didn't even think about people who do that for a living :? I hope you find some joy in your day, today.

Attie and J.D., let's both have a nice yellow PMPS, k?

Re: 1/17 Atlas AMPS 318

Actually, you should feel sorry for your neighbors. Most people don't have the appropriate gear or they just don't dress for the weather.

Those of us who work in it on a regular basis often have the gear we need to stay suprisingly comfy. From our gortex boots/shoes to outerwear. I have the pants for the rainsuit, I just hate putting them on and off at each stop. Today I'll just layer up even though it is going to be 50F. I can always shed layers later in the day.

One of my clients on Sunday was home when I arrived and it was only 16F. She looked at me and thought I may have been underdressed until I explained to her that my hat, scarf, and gloves were actually 'thermals' too. I got them as a gift years ago and I cherish them! I don't know where my mother-in-law found them, but they are better than sliced warm bread on a cold day!

Hi guys .. sounds like attie has a bit of a mood going on today! I hope it is just the weather and not another flare up for him .. Ugh, sorry to hear about all the rain .. can't imagine that is much fun, even with the appropriate gear .. Try and have a great day!

Re: 1/17 Atlas AMPS 318

Attie-tude in plenty this morning! Everyone gets a swat!

I'm glad you are appropriately attired, but it still sounds like an icky day.

Pretty flat pink. We're going to try for a dose increase this evening by a 0.25u. Attie is still pretty lethargic. Although the treat bag brings him running....

Weather was wet this morning and we have gale force winds tonight. Hi today was a balmy 57F and the cold front tonight drops things into the upper teens and snow...
