Whoohoo! Little Sam made it a week in the green! Already gave his shot this morning Sienne, but looking forward to tonight when he can go down to .25! This is so exciting!
Another day off work, only today they put out a major ice storm warning. Branches are loaded with ice & breaking all over the place. Over 100,000 w/o power. A couple huge branches of our cherry tree broke off. By the time this is all over my house is gonna be really clean!! Gave a good day y'all!

Hi guys .. I am so impressed with Sam Siams numbers! His SS is looking gorgeous, congrats on the dose reduction! Sorry to hear you were without power last night .. I am wondering if we'll lose it today with the high wind gusts! Anyways, have a great day!

Sam may be one of those who prefer to keep their trip through Lantus Land short and sweet (antijinx!). You're doing great Donna.

Wow. I want a spreadsheet like that. Look at the change from all that black and red to all that green. Its not just the change in testing unit is it? Was the original testing too high?

Good question, I was wondering the same thing. Actually, the old tester tested much lower than this one! It was an Acu-chek but a very old one and probably not calibrated. The one I'm using now is much closer to what my husband's Bayer Breeze reads. Strange, huh?! The only thing I can figure is that Sam's diabetes was triggered by the antibiotics and steroids he was on when we first adopted him. He didn't display diabetic symptoms at first. Wasn't till after the meds. Anyhoo, gonna reduce tonight and see how he does. It's funny that green just happens to be my favorite color! Hopefully I will be able to update later, but we are experiencing a major snow/ice storm and most likely our power will go out again. Thank heaven for a wood stove! Pray for all the old people who have to go through this. I always worry for them.
