Yesterday"s Condo
Attie was still pretty grumpy last night, but not so grumpy that he wasn't willing to establish the new pet bed as "his." Gary and MudCat were pussy-footing around it and Attie muscled over to get in it. Where he promptly laid down and went to kitty dreamland. MudCat was left staring at me wondering what the heck? And Gary laid in front of the bed for quite some time...I guess wondering in amazement.
Attie has been desperately trying to get into the cat basket and cat cubby, but he just hangs over the edges or out the cubby. So I picked up a small dog bed. I haven't seen him in it since that initial take down, but I think he'll own it by the end of the weekend.
Some paw bats and chase this morning between the boys. And breffis #1 has been eaten by all.
Side note on Attie's numbers from yesterday, I noted last night when I drew his dose that when I got done fine tuning it for my 2.25, that I had actually drawn 1.25 ohmygod_smile . So, now I wonder if that pink pre-shot was from a misdraw in the morning?
I got a call from an old client last night needing service for next weekend. She is about 20 miles away and I'll need to take the turnpike to get to them(30 minute trip one way). They have a new English Bulldog puppy and are looking for an overnight sit, which I can do. But...they were cat people before and a single visit at that distance was fine. Dog visits going forward are not going to be possible as the trips will take 1.5 hours, 3-4 times a day. I have other clients more locally that need service too. So I contacted a good sitter for her going forward and she'll need to make those arrangements. Next weekend will be my last sit for them or as I told her if she contacts the new sitter in her location...it will be less expensive than my overnight rate.
