Good Morning....

Atlas is starting to worry me again. All day he laid in bed. Even when I would come home or walk in ...he would not get up. Last night he had all three dinners in bed.

This morning he was up all bright eyed and bushy tailed. He even collared Gary...much to Gary's shock. Poor boy...Attie be nice!

Ugh! What a day! Not sure what went wrong, but I wrenched my lower back...very painfully yesterday. Got back from my first walk of the day and went to dry the dog off...and I got down and could not get back up! What the heck? Nothing out of the ordinary happened. I went to the next walk...and we did only potty breaks as I could barely walk without pain. Stopped and picked up some ibuprofen...finished the mid-day walks and headed straight home to put my feet up and back down for several hours. I still had visits for later! Anyway years ago when I had a very bad back issue (9 wks. out) the Dr. told me 4-6 ibuprofen was the same as his prescription he would write for me. ;-) So, once home for the evening you know what I did...

This morning it isn't too bad. I was not expecting to be able to walk again. Today I have 8 pet sits on the day...It may be a potty break and lazer tag day for the dogs. I am not going to try and walk any of my pullers today. We'll work with Buddy in the driveway today on basic commands.

Re: 1/24 Amps 194

I saw the headline and thought what a nice blue start for the day for Atlas

But then bad news  I'm so sorry to hear that you've hurt your back, that would make dog walking impossible. Hope it gets better real soon.

Re: 1/24 Amps 194

Nice start for Attie today! Poor guy. So sorry to hear he isn't feeling well. Hopefully he will get better and better today.

Ouch on the back! Try not to over do it. Back pain really can lay a person up. That is what my rheumatologist told me about Ibuprofen as well. Have you tried a heating pad? That might help you as well.

Healing vines to Attie and you as well. Hope you both get better quick!! :YMHUG:

Well....that looks like a pretty serious bounce  .

Attie....what did you do last night? ohmygod_smile

OK... I think I am not leaving the house the rest of this week! @-) Working with a dog and don't you know we're doing an altered gate thing and the next thing I know....WHAM. I am flat out on my back on a sheet of black ice!

Oh...I am going to pay for this, this week.... :-Q

Home, snug as a bug...

Curling up to catch a nap...and then back out for one last sit about 10pm.

Attie seems to be breaking these pinks too.

My schedule may allow room for a mini-curve tomorrow....

And suprisingly...my back isn't hurting this evening! In fact, it felt like a lot of the pain went away after I took the back slam to the pavement this morning.

But...we'll see how I feel tomorrow morning with two morning dogs at 6am and 7am!

   omg.... a wrenched back, and an ice slam. wow - i do hope all is well. maybe the ice slam put all back in synch again. i do hope you are feeling better.

Hope that Attie is indeed braking his bounce. Good job Attie! maybe yesterday was just a a sleep day for Attie? Sometimes Mannie will do that - just not wanting to do much of anything. Ge well Attie!

Hope your last pet sit goes well.
