Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty got a short shot this morning, possibly a partial fur shot. He didn't want his shot (last night's was an "ouchie") and pulled away twice after I had inserted the syringe but before I had a chance to push the plunger. So when I finally got the shot in it looked like some of the insulin had already left the syringe. But I didn't smell Lev., so who knows! In any event, tonight or tomorrow morning we will begin a new cartridge.

We all slept well last night. And this morning Rusty and I took a little nap after breakfast (we're tired because we're still on an earlier schedule: by Sunday we'll be back on our normal shot schedule). Now I'm getting ready to go on a trail walk on icy trails (probably not enough snow for snowshoes, and certainly not enough for skis); we'll wear our Kahtoola mountain spikes. I'll be back in time for late lunch and Edward and Rusty will hold the fort. Looking forward to visiting condos this afternoon.

Hoping too that the shot hit its mark this AM. It's tough when they pull away. Be good Rusty! I hope you find the greens today.

I hope the shot was good, Rusty never really bounces high though.

Have fun today, good thing to get out and not worry if the shot was good or not.

Hi guys .. I hope the shot was a good shot, and if not, I hope rusty manages to stay in low blues and greens for you .. Sounds like you have a nice day planned .. we are majorly lacking in the snow department these days .. Not a flake to be seen! have a great weekend!

Good AFTNOON!! I'm glad you went out & did something you enjoy today--I also smelled insulin last nite, & Moonie went up some, but not bad, so I believe most went in... Even so Rusty has great numbers!!
Moonie squeals sometimes too from the shot, but I think they have a spot where it hurts them--I did the same last nite.--Oh Well, guess we are still the fur shot queens~~~ Hail to the Queens :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi again,
I guess it wasn't a partial fur shot! Rusty is cruising along in green this afternoon. He and Edward had a good combing and brushing and some good play. I had a lovely walk in winter woods with 4 friends. We skirted two of the ponds we paddle on and it was neat to see them from a different perspective. We wore our Kahtoola spikes, which were perfect in the icy conditions (very little snow and what there was was hard and crusty). We saw lots of sign of fox, but didn't see the fox itself. Weather this morning was cold and sunny. We walked out on the ice of the ponds--carefully, since the ice is always thinner by the shore.

Nice cycle for Rusty today! Your walk sounds lovely. Since we don't have that kind of weather I joke about it, but the winter landscape is beautiful. I'm glad you get to enjoy it.

Nice cycle for Rusty and it looks like enough juice got in or all got in him. Every once in a while I hit a sore spot and Maggie jerks. Glad you had a nice walk, too.

Nice numbers for Rusty! Guess the shot was at least almost all good. Great that you got out and enjoyed the weather. Be careful on that ice. Yikes! Have a great night Ella!
