day before yesterday includes bag video

well i screwed up yesterday. forgot to pick up punkin's insulin and this morning there wasn't enough for his dose. :sad: nobody to blame but myself, although i've been trying to figure out a way to blame my husband for it. :lol:

punkin's been purring nonstop for about 20 minutes now. i don't know how he manages it while he's eating, but he was purring while we got the FUD ready, purred while his short little legs ran for the feeding spot, purred while he ate (CPC membership maintained!), and now he's sprawled on the bare floor purring madly away. so he gets a great WCR this morning! too bad i messed up on the insulin because his amps made me think he was likely clearing that bounce and we'd have seen some good numbers again today.

fortunately(?) there will be another chance tonight and he'll get back on track. :-D

Hi guys .. bum deal on the insulin shortage .. but you are right, another chance tonight! I love it when our kitties purr the day away .. maybe he knows he's got a good day ahead of him? Have a great weekend!

No one here is perfect, and we all make mistakes--We know you are a devoted bean..
There's always tonite to correct any mistakes..Come off the guilt train..He will be fine.

There's always a way to blame the husband, I'm sure it was he that distracted you from your catly duties yesterday!

Thanks for thinking of Vyktor on dental day. The vet assures me that his teeth (well what's left) are all gleaming now. I don't think I'll be given the opportunity to check them out any time soon. I don't think he'll be keen on giving me the opportunity to get anywhere near his mouth for a while since I just gave him a squirt of tramadol - he was not impressed!

I hope punkin surprises you by coming down even without his full dose. It's nice know that he's got his motor on anyway, I was wondering what that noise was!

Julie, if you can't find a way to blame DH, you're not really trying. :-D Just kidding of course. How annoying about the insulin. Ah well, punkin will be fine. So cute about the purring. He is such a happy guy. Have a good one!

Punkin is doing so well, a little bCS won't hurt him, It sounds like a purrrfect day there otherwise.

what a sweet, happy cat punkin is!
mookie had him beat last night when his lack of insulin sent him up to HI on the meter, so from that perspective, 339 doesn't look bad at all :-D

Great to hear that Punkin is purry. I love the sound of them purring, but even while he eats? That is so sweet.

No worries on the insulin. It's just a partial fur shot and you can pick it right back up tonight. Have a great day Julie!

oh wow on that pmps. Punkin - what are you doing wayyyyy upppp thereeeee? Bummer on the shot this AM, but I am sure he will get back on track soon.

i know. i am so kicking myself over this. argh. gave him some R again to try to pull it down. hopefully not so much that he'll bounce from it, but i did give him .5u just because it was SO high. i was hopeful the little bit of R at +6 would prevent this . . .

on the good side, he's acting perfectly normal.

That is comforting to see punkin acting normal when numbers are so blasted high! Paws crossed this is all very short lived. :YMHUG:
