punkin is his usual furry purry self this morning. yowling at the stairway door to be fed, wiggly while trying to test his ear (he's mastered the perfect timing for ducking or flicking his ear just as you get the strip near it), cheering us on while the food and insulin is getting prepared, racing ahead of me to the eating spot, crying for anya to be let out of the laundry room (not for her, but so he can finish her plate) and now he's parked on top of the carcass of the paper bag from earlier this week.
in other words, he's still a happy camper despite the high numbers. i gave him a little R to try to pull him down a tad so the Lantus can get to work. i wonder how long the screwed up shot yesterday morning will affect his BG.
we had an amazing windstorm during the night last night - i woke up a couple of times from branches crashing on the roof, wondering briefly if the kitters were ok downstairs. but they were no doubt snuggled together and seemed fine this morning. it was crazy. and now we have snow swirling outside.
