2/28 Zener
AMPS 335, 8th cycle at 2.25u, 1.2oz 8%
+1 331, 1/8 zantac, 1/3PP, not hungry

It's been 5 days since we saw any stinky pinky. Wow, Zener, what a nice run! He was very disgusted this morning as there was snow on his picnic table and mat. Harrumph. So he had an inside picnic at PS and then wasn't hungry at +1. We did just play a rousing game of stick-n-string so maybe that will bring his BG down and stimulate his appetite. The snow is a little later than predicted so maybe it will amount to something. I'm off to shovel.

Bailey, you little rascal, stay out of the kibble! Weezer is blue this AM. :-D Thinking especially of Katie (in ICU with a terrible infection), Morgaine and Rosalie, and others who are ailing. Happy Tuesday LL.
Liz

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331

Oh no, Zener, what's up with this stinky pink and to top it off snow on your picnic table. It can only get better frm here on! Hope Zener comes down today, Liz. Enjoy the snow. We're on our second day of a storm, well, what we call a storm. :-D

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331

Nice that the +1 isn't up so I hope he just went back to pick up something he left behind.

Enjoy the snow, fresh snow is so beautiful. As long has you don't have to shovel tooooo much.

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331

Hi guys .. that was indeed a very sweet run for zener! I hope he has another one but even longer :-D Boo on the snow on his picnic table .. that just ain't right! Hope you guys have a great day!

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284

Morning! And YAY on that +2 - we are headed out of the pink zone and into the yellow one. Well done Zener. Bummer on the condition of your picnic table... but I bet your bean takes care of that for you. Nice to hear you guys have snow - enjoy that shoveling.... :-D

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284;+3.5 218; +4.5 243

Oops, guess we stopped Zener's drop. :?

Today
2/28 Zener
AMPS 335, 8th cycle at 2.25u, 1.2oz 8%
+1 331, 1/8 zantac, 1/3PP, not hungry, negative ketones
+2 284, 3mg Zobaline & 2/3PP, 1.2oz 8%
+3.5 218, 0.8oz 8% & 1 drop karo
+4.5 243, 0.65oz 8%

@Ann & Maggie - your southern CA storms often become our snow, so send them on over! Zener didn't stay pink for long and now is hanging around in sunny yellow.

@Ann & Tess - hmm, we thought he was going to drop to blue based on his big drop at +3.5, but our karo may have interfered. Sheez, like Rosalie wrote in our condo last night, just when you think you have something figured out...

@Devon - yes, Boo on snow on the picnic table. The wind is whipping around with this storm, so brings the snow all the way up under our covered porch.

@Celi - Zener's thoughts exactly!

@Lisa - we hope so too, came down to yellow pretty quickly so paws crossed for better numbers again soon.

@Linda - it was a nice drop and we may have stopped it, darn it.

@Michelle & Mannie - squarely in the yellow zone for now, but that beats stinky pinky. Beans have been shoveling and sweeping so picnic table is now uncovered! Zener is tucked away napping and not so interested in going out at the moment. ;-)

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday in LL!

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284;+3.5 218; +4.5 243

So Happy Zener is in good numbers!
Karo is not my carb of choice, but I rarely use it..Hold the karo for some real drops.
It did raise him, so no worries..Have a good day--Hugs & Lubs from us!

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284;+3.5 218; +4.5 243;+6

Down nice and easy Zener. Nothing to see up there. Boo on the picnic. Inside picnics are nowhere near as fun. Hope you all have a great night!

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284;+3.5 218; +4.5 243;+6

You may not have intended to stop the drop cold, but then again, you may have prevented a bounce. If you ever gets the balance exactly right, I know a few condo where you could sell the secret.

Re: 2/28 Zener AMPS 335;+1 331;+2 284;+3.5 218; +4.5 243;+6

How horrible that Zener couldn't have his picnic!!!! What's a kitty to do?!?! I hope that snow melts soon so it can be sunny, warm picnics everyday!

What is up with these numbers Zener? Bouncing? I hope you break this bounce tonight and give your beans some nice greens.....think GREEN buddy

Have a wonderful evening everyone!

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137

Looks like Zener decided to break that bounce, huh? Now, no more stinkus pinkus, little man!!!

Have a great night, guys!

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137

Hey Zener, It is possible to picnic in the snow, but first you have to melt it. Tomorrow move your picnic table into the sun and have a feast! Very nice PMPS!

Enjoy the evening, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Slow slide down to blue, perhaps a rainbow kitty in the making today?

@Roni - and he's back in healing numbers again! We've tried a number of things for steering cycles and preventing drops. When we use the HC foods with gravy, then we can hardly get Zener back on lower carb food, his appy is so tenuous. We tried honey too but it didn't seem to have much effect. So, switched to using a tiny drop of karo and that seems to help without messing with his appy for his foods. Good grief, it's like being a mad scientist!

@Melissa & Mr T - Zener has an inside picnic table, but doesn't like it all that much. He LOVES his outdoor picnics. We got the snow cleared off of everything and he had a very brief picnic tonight, but it was just too cold.

@Linda - you know that's right about preventing another bounce, we forget that it's the size of the drop too and not just the low numbers that can cause Zener to bounce. About getting the balance right and selling secrets..hmm, makes me want to get my 007 James Bond on!

We're not big fans of shooting a dropping number, but he seemed pretty flat between 11.5 and PMPS. AND we love those blues and greens and want to get back there! :-D "Gotta shoot low, to stay low." Hope everyone has a good evening in LL!

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147

Looking good @+1.
PMPS 137, 9th cycle @ 2.25u, 1.45oz 8%, 1/2PP & 1/8 Zantac, 3/32t Miralax
+1 147, 0.8oz 8%

I must have cross posted and missed some of you.

@Tracy & Leo - he was very disappointed when he went out this morning and there was snow and wind. It won't last too long though. Looks like he is listening to you and has slid down to blue!

@Celi - Mighty Z - he loves his new nickname!

@Amy - yes, it sure looks like bounce breaking behavior!

@Ella - good idea about moving the picnic table into the sun! Tomorrow we have sunny skies in the forecast and the early am sun hits right on his picnic table so all should be thawed for outdoor picnics!

Mighty Z is in the CPC so far tonight! :-D

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147

What a nice turn around for the Z-man! I like using syrup too, as it wears off foirly soon.

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147

What a great surprise to see these pm numbers! Once again, Mr Z has some tricks up that fur-covered sleeve. Have a great night, Anne and Liz--and I hope it's not a late one.

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147

Mighty Z, the magician returns!
PMPS 137, 9th cycle @ 2.25u, 1.45oz 8%, 1/2PP & 1/8 Zantac, 3/32t Miralax
+1 147, 0.8oz 8%
+2 114, 0.60z 8%

@Ann & Tess - it's an amazing turnaround, makes me wonder if it really was a bounce (busting it in one cycle is practically unheard of for Mr Z) or perhaps a bubble or something in his syringe last night. Where is that crystal ball? We sure tried lots of different things for steering cycles and the karo has worked the best recently. It is an advantage that it wears off fairly quickly, at least quicker for Zener than the high carb (17-18%) gravy did.

@Rhanda - he is full of tricks up his furry sleeve!   I don't have to be at work until 10 in the morning, so a late night would be better tonight than those 8 am class days!

Woo hoo, blue @ +2!

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147;+2 114;+3 90

Wow did he ever clear that bounce quickly! Great job Z Man!!! Hes looking fantastic.

I don't think you shot a dropping number...looked like a surf to me. Great job!

Re: 2/28 Zener PMPS 137;+1 147;+2 114;+3 90

Zener is looking really good! Look at all the blue and green lately!

I agree with Marje....that looked like a surf, and you monitor closely. Nice hooting!

 Woo hoo!
PMPS 137, 9th cycle @ 2.25u, 1.45oz 8%, 1/2PP & 1/8 Zantac, 3/32t Miralax

+2 114, 0.60z 8%
+3 90, 0.7oz 8%
+4 81, 0.7oz 8%

@Marje - we hardly know what to do with these numbers! Sienne advised us to breathe, excellent advice. :-D Thanks for your input on the dropping numbers vs surf. We appreciate more expert eyes taking a look! I got a test shortly after getting home and was surprised to see the 144, so waited about 20 minutes and tested again. We decided the difference in 144 & 137 could be meter variance and could be a surf, so we shot without delay. He also was asking for food, so we decided we better make hay while the sun was shining, so to speak. ;-) Thanks for your confidence in us! :YMHUG:

@Lydia - thanks! Zener loves being green.

@Laurie - we're not used to those lovely numbers yet, but hope we get that way with more and more of them! ;-)

Zener is feeling much better tonight than this morning, he usually seems a little lethargic when he is pink (or worse). Appy seems steady. Will get another test before dreamland. ~O)
