Mr. KT finally fell off that cliff last night...but doesn't look like a huge dive so someone pushed him....OK, who did dat? THANKS! He doesn't seem to be feeling well this morning - hasn't tagged anyone and is laying back on his desk/test spot sleeping.
We're battening down the hatches here - it's supposed to rain hard beginning today thru the next 2 days. I planted lettuce, parsley and cucumber seeds but not up yet so covered them with a piece of old fiberglass screen. I hope the seeds will stay in place by doing this...otherwise, I'll have lettuce and parsley growing under tomatos, peppers and squash.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Jill/Tigger/Pooh for the wonderful box we received yesterday!!!! It's got new meter, strips, lancets, syringes, ketodiastix and even potassium that DH can use!!!! Each time we use them, we send another hug to each of them.
Photobucket today! Today I thought I'd post a couple of the babies that we've found homes for over the years. The first little tabbyBaby is 'Tigger'. Tigger is probably Spike's littermate but ended up with people that abandoned him instead. He was the sweetest, cuddliest baby that so needed someone to love him. We found an older couple that had just bought a new house with room for him and a desperate WANT for him. He's well loved, spoiled and cuddles with 2 ShihTzu's. He even travels on vacation with them. Here's Tigger eating in the feral hutch I built in the far corner of our yard:
This is 'Josie' - dumped out covered in allergy sores and mouth (tooth) so swollen she couldn't eat. Took about 3 weeks to get her healed well then found her a wonderful home with an elderly lady who'd just lost her husband. She'd always wanted a small dog but her husband refused to have one in the house. Josie thinks she's gone to Heaven...even after 3 years! Here's Josie:
Thoughts and prayers today for all those ailing babies and all Beans needing them today. Extra thoughts and prayers today for Eleanor and Julie as Julie tries to get all this under her belt. You're doing wonderfully Julie - don't get so discouraged.
BIG HUGS to all that visit today!
