good morning world! we have a storm moving in today - the sky is heavy and dark gray. good thing i'm just planning on being at home anyway.

punkin is doing well this morning. shockingly, :shock: (<--see shocked face) he got very excited about the prospect of pill pockets, then raced in front of me to the eating spot, tolerated the shot without a flinch, made sure he and anya made it into the Clean Plate Club and then settled on to the rug. ;-) i heard a little fracas and saw anya trying to get him to wrestle - only he wasn't in the mood and turned and hissed at her. all was forgiven and they washed each other's face. he's had his bupe & +1 mini-meal and is washing his own face now.

in other words, an ordinary morning in Punkin & Anya's world.

I seem to be finding pictures of orange kittehs doing everything! I like orange kitties. I also like calicos. The calicos often have an orange daddy!

wow he can suck up a lotta carbs! not to mention a lot of food! gave him and extra 3oz can of turkey & giblets at +4, 1.5oz of lc at +4.5 and a tsp of hc gravy at +5.

he's looking mighty contented about now. although every time i've done this (carbing in advance) trying to keep him from hitting below 50 and then bouncing it doesn't work. he'll probably bounce anyway.

i am glad i didn't give him any R this morning. saw that 344 and thought i could, but maybe it was too late in the bounce cycle, so i didn't. he cleared that bounce with a mighty dive. go punkin! :mrgreen: i do like having him in these better numbers.

Hi Julie. I bet Punkin enjoyed the yummies. He's doing beautifully today.

Checkers is another one who often backfires on me, when I carb to avoid a dive.

Hope you're keeping warm and dry, and kitties aren't scared of the storm.

Punkin is making a habit out of this! He could take up residency on one of those lower floors. Way to go Punkin!

i would LOVE it if punkin would make a habit of this happy little green floor. i let him stay in higher numbers for way too long because i was afraid of it. with his acro he takes more carbs to come up, but come up he does, and this is so much better for his body.

Anya is the pesky little sister! Mookie is the same way, always trying to initiate play with Henry and getting swatted if Henry isn't in the mood. :lol:
