3/16 KT AMPS 317 Thoughts/Vines/Prayer request..BETTER?

Good morning World! Yesterday

AMPS 317

My pink toad again this morning - he just LOVES this toad suit! Wish he'd decide to wear his cat suit instead... :roll: He's just laying around being a lumpkin.

Requesting thoughts/healing vines/prayers for one of the neighborhood droolers that we take care of - Samson. This is the one that was hit by a car, has hip dysplasia due to it while his MeanBean said let him lay there and either die or live. WE took him to vet, got him fixed as best WE could. This was about a year ago. NOW he's severely constipated, has been for 3 days - MeanBean assured me they were giving him medicine for it. This morning I sort of tricked the bean and discovered that he hadn't given Samson ANYTHING....money went on booze instead. I started giving him mineral oil this morning but I'm afraid it's too late - the look he gave me said 'that's enough'. My DH loves this dog like crazy and won't ever SEE it - he'll make every excuse there is to make for reasons. I'm truly afraid I'm going to have to make the decision for all of them and make 3 people very upset with me for a while. They can't seem to understand it isn't for THEM, it's for the fuzzyfoot.

Let's check out my photobucket this morning! How about another butterfly! One of my memory plants is a tall pink garden phlox - Nellie makes sure they bloom beautifully every year...the butterflies just love them. This one stayed in my backyard for hours that day....SO beautiful! By the time he arrived, he was a 'flying rag' (missing lots of wing edges) but still so pretty.



Thoughts and prayers today for all needing them. Today I'm thinking especially of Rosalie (lost Morgaine) - about now the hole is so empty.

Hi guys .. ok KT, your momma needs some bright blue skies today so let's give that to her! I'm sorry to hear about the poor pup .. When an animal gives you that look .. it's hard to ignore it, isn't it? Sounds like that poor dog has had a rough life .. Hugs to you, for trying to do the right thing!

I'm also sending karma to his "caretakers." I hope they come back as a dog who has caretakers like Sampson's. What goes 'round, should come 'round.

Poor Samson he has been through a lot. People like that, I can't think of an appropriate and acceptable word for them, shouldn't be allowed anywhere near animals. Sending comfort vines for you DH and Samson.

Praying for a miracle, or comfort for acccepting it's his time. Can't pray for pain on the meanbean, but wouldn't try to pray it away either. Hugs.

I feel so bad for Samson that he has to have beans like he has. Thank goodness he has you and DH. Praying for answers and strength to do whatever is best for Samson.

Sending many healing vines and prayers for Samson and also for you Lyresa if you have to make this decision. I hope he will improve. It makes me so upset when people treat their companions like this....I think whatever happens to their
animal companion should happen to them so they will know how it feels.

I'm so bad, I know...but I hate this kind of suffering. Thankfully he has you and DH.

Sending healing vines foe Samson. This site may help although it is for cats, http://www.felineconstipation.org/acutetreatment.html.There must be similar info for dogs. I think the best bet is an enema if you think you can do it.

Oh, how I hate hearing stories like this, so, so, sorry for that poor little guy. Stopping animal abuse is on the top of my list, in this lifetime, and I do whatever I can, but it never seems enough, there are too many horrible people in the world…but I do believe in karma, and they will know how it feels to be hurt by the people who are supposed to love you. So sorry Samson, you are going to go to a better place, that will make you very happy. Sending healing vines and prayers to all of you.

Lyresa, Thank you and your DH for caring for this unlucky boy and for loving him. He deserves so much better than his "companion".

KT's been my King this afternoon running in the mid 200's despite eating half a bowl of Pedigree pate chicken dog food...didn't spike him any more than his regular low carb per tests.

UPDATE ON SAMSON - I've also discovered he hasn't eaten hardly anything the last 2 days altho' plates of food were taken over...seems the other dogs enjoyed it instead. MeanBean's wife was gone all week so he's really been a ....ahem...donkey. I got 3 doses of mineral oil down him as well as a bowl of chicken baby food full of canine Forti-Flora. I started syringe feeding first but after about 3 syringes, he realized it was GOOD and ate the rest of it. I followed it with some boiled chicken and bit of rice and lots of water. His eyes got brighter and got their smile back for a bit. Shortly afterward, I saw him prancing down the road altho' I missed whether he left a 'treat' somewhere or not. That's all I can do today as it's dark.

Positive thoughts for Samson. I hope this all works out. And yes, what goes around comes around - the owners should not have pets. Kudos to you for trying to help, and caring for Samson.

There are days when I hope that a maltreated cat will pee in his/her owner's shoe. In Sampson's case, I hope the mineral oil does it's job in the middle of the night when the beans are asleep. In fact I hope he leaves a deposit somewhere that it's easily stepped in. I like cosmic justice.
