Yesterday's Condo

Good morning all, Day 3 and Sami has been pretty steady. She has been staying right around the same number for both AM and PM tests. I still can't keep myself from doing a spot check at +3 after her mini meals at night. I would do it in the morning, but +3 falls right around the time I need to get out the door to go to work and on mornings that I go to the chiropractor first I leave even earlier. So no checks in the morning. Sami's ears are loving me for only testing 3 times a day.

Happy Happy Day 3 you two!!! I was really hard for me to not test for the first few days.....as Chris said "it's like withdrawal" :lol:

I give Sami between 1/4 can and 1/3 can of food every hour for 3 to 4 hours. This is the 3 oz. can. I give all my other cats the same, except my two fat boys, they get a little more. Then I usually put out an additional snack at +4, +3 in the morning because I am not home at +4. When I first started doing the mini meals I was giving 1/6 can about every 30-45 minutes. With no snack unless she went low.

About feeling the need to get spot checks - yup, it's like withdrawal. :mrgreen:
