Starting in the pink again today. Suspect/hope that he stayed pink all night or hopefully dipped a little lower. Definitely happy, purry furry kitty this morning. Making chirping noises. Was sitting on the deck by the doors waiting to come in and hopped up on the 'testing' chair waiting for his treat. It's cool and I find his ear pokes go super easy when his ears are cold (go figure?). Anyway, happy cat, is having some Friskies salmon dinner this morning, with his lysine. Clear eyes. glossy sleek coat, looks like he's gaining some weight.. hm... vet didn't seem to want that to happen, and yet it looks good on him.

going btb now. hope everyone has a great morning! Hugs to all that need it and happy healing vines to all.

Nice WCR!! Funny that Rupert's ears bleed better when they're cold...the opposite of most kitties! But, if it works, it works.

Enjoy the BTB and have a lovely day!

Re: 3/20 Rupert AMPS 358

Yay for Rupert's morning report! Definitely making progress. :-D His ears bleed better in the cold - that is hard to imagine but a nice feature.

Re: 3/20 Rupert AMPS 358,+2 282 yay

yay for the yellow 282 at +2! He sure looks happy today. Weighed him and he's still 6.7kg (14.7lbs) which is good for him. I think he just LOOKS bigger because he's feeling so much better. Walking tall and buff! Hoping for some nice slow surfing today. Vet visit tomorrow evening for follow up, hopefully doesn't freak him too much and set us back. off to work now. sigh!

Re: 3/20 Rupert AMPS 358,+2 282,+6 288

+6 and 288... hey, I'll be happy if he surfs yellow all day. drastic improvement on the blacks, reds and pinks! Hoping he hangs on to it for PMPS. fingers crossed!

Re: 3/20 Rupert AMPS 358,+2 282,+6 288

PMPS 280, yay!, it's been 15 evenings ( I guess that's 30 cycles?) since we've had a PMPS in the yellow or lower. Nice slow yellow surf today. Methinks this is the way to do things, correct? surf on one floor and then slowly move down to the next one. Lets hope this wasn't enough of a drop for Mr. Liver to get excited and we can perhaps build on the momentum this evening and tomorrow. Vet visit at 9:15am so doubtless he'll be a little ramped up after that, but will have the rest of the day to get over it, hopefully. Just a follow up visit from his dental so nothing scary.

Hope everyone has a good evening!

You know what they say about flat yellow cycles?

Glad to hear such a nice report on Rupert today.

Hope the vet goes well.

Re: 3/20 Rupert AMPS 358,+2 282,+6 288, PMPS 280.

some cats seem to have a flat yellow cycle followed by a more "active" cycle that dips lower. i haven't found that to be true of punkin, but you never know about rupert.

so nice to see rupert working his way down.

Paws crossed that it is true with Rupert and we start to see some lower numbers. Great WCR,

Re: 3/20 Rupert PMPS 280, +3 271

+3 and still in the yellows. Nice consistent, still high, but level numbers. Hope he does a little bit more of a dip overnight! Yay Rupert... He looks good tonight. He's sitting by the balcony door telling me it's time to go down and feed the horses... guess I better get going! Least I get to sleep again tonight, wheee!

thanx everyone for your shared excitement and support! talk at ya in the morning!

Re: 3/20 Rupert PMPS 280, +3 271

Rupie came to the barn and helped and had a nice little run around outside. Demanded more food when we got back up to the house, sat on his testing chair and had a snack...seemed pretty hungry so thought I'd throw in one more test before bed.... yup, he knows what's going on with his body, good boy! he's at 199 WHEEE!!Just snuck into the blue! hopefully he surfs some nice blues tonight! Glad he seems to know when to eat a little bit to slow things down. He's had about 3/4 can of Friskies Salmon tonight since shot time, spread out at 1/4 can intervals. Cleaned it all up. Now he's having a good clean and looking quite smug.

now I'm hoping that he slows down a little bit so we don't get a serious kerboing tomorrow!
