if you ever wonder if your cat gets stressed when you're gone, the answer, at least for Gabby, is "Yes." Her +6 was 415. I've not been home since her AM shot on Wed. My DPS, who's a new DPS, said she was under the bed this morning at shot time. Apparently, being fed in the bedroom got her out from under the furniture.

I spent the day having a thyroid nodule removed. I'm back home and obviously, Gabby is less stressed. I'm going to try to keep an eye on Lantus Land but between the after effects of anesthesia and the pain meds, I'm a little loopy!

Gabby it's nice that you worry about your Mom but she's a big girl so don't worry yourself into the red ok

I hope you have someone bringing you delicious ice cream and sherbert all day and you're resting and snuggling with your furbabies the rest of the day. Don't worry about the board. You need a day off. Get well soon and relax. Poor Gabby was worried about mom. You have to take care of you now so you can take care of them.

None of the petsitters has ever been able to test Gabby -- even when I'm here. She growls. She tries to swat -- with claws extended, no less. She seriously means she's a momma's girl.

i'm sure gabby is so happy to have her mom back home! her non-verbal communication skills seem to be very, very good! :lol:
