AMPS 350

KT - UGHHH - a BIG pink toad this morning! And I had something happen this morning that I've not had happen before. After I shot but still had the skin somewhat tented, a drop of insulin leaked back OUT. It was a good sized amount, probably .25+u. Of all the days it had to be when his number is 350.

Didn't start a condo yesterday - just too much going on. By the time I had a chance, it was already evening. He really deserved it as we had a nice GREEN and blue run altho' I was awakened at 4:45 to him throwing up. He even had a nice cycle thru yesterday until late - Mr. Liver's getting better at not showing up as early.

I now have 4 tomato plants, 10 okra plants and 2 parsley bunches in my garden. It's full so nothing else can go in...it's only 15 feet long, 8' at one end narrowing to 4' at the other. The sides are raised about 10" or so to make it a little easier for us.

Since I'm running late this morning, I'll go ahead and post this but will probably add more later!

A HUGE THANK YOU AGAIN to Anne/Liz/Zener for more food!!!!

BIG HUGS!

WOOHOO for a green KT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mowed & fertilized 3 lawns, and cleared out all the garden plots today.

Blech...i don't enjoy yardwork...but feels good getting it done.

we have two big vegetable garden plots... tomatoes, okra, peppers, squash, watermelon & cantaloupe, beans and my favorite: ARTICHOKES!!!

fruit trees as well. :-D

But it's a lotta yardwork

Thanks for the lawn mower tips the other day Lyresa :-D I still haven't quite gotten round to it  but have saved your advice for when I do. It will have to be soon because everyone's rubbish is starting to get stuck in the long grass in the front  also you guys are guilting me out with all your industrious yardwork, mmmm okra. I'm also a big artichoke fan but have never tried to grow them. At the moment I have limes, the last of the tomatoes and capsicum for the season, chillies and my herbs (a couple of varieties of mint, parsley, rosemary and purple basil). I unpotted the ginger mint yesterday and put it in the ground, apparently Vyktor thought the minty freshness was all a bit too much because he did his smelly business right where I planted it

Weird about the insulin leaking back out but I probably wouldn't know if that has happened to Vyktor, he's a pretty furry boy.

Nice greens yesterday!! Yay on the garden. I am picking up my tomato plants this weekend. Okra, black eyed peas, Lima beans, green beans, peppers, and onions are in. Our mustard greens and cucumbers are coming up nicely too with this great weather. I am going to try to grow my herbs in the house this year. I love spring! Have a great night Lyresa!

A garen! That's great! We living in this cramped city in HK cannot imagine owning a garden or a patch or a backyard,no matter big or small! And a little outdoor space where your kitty can roam; this is delicious!
