Zener is doing fine this morning. His appy was very good, enough to be in the CPC! Well, not to punkin's standard, but pretty close. And he even worked on the crumbs in Tillie's bowl. He's now napping on his pad in the living room. Looks like he will get a bit of a poke break, at least for the morning. We are hoping this bounce clears quickly.

OT: Tillie is sure she could catch that squirrel if she could get outside. The squirrel is so worried. Not.

#1 item on my agenda for the day is to finish my taxes, then get a massage. :-D Great news that Harley (Lyresa's drooler) is doing better! :-D BigMac ate a little on his own yesterday! Woohoo!!! AND CD's daughter had her baby. :-D Congrats to OJT Kitty! Wild party in Moscow today and great video by CD. CD, how have you survived these past two weeks? Thinking of you, BigMac, DD and baby, Harley/Lyresa/DH/rest of their crew, and others are who ailing and sad. Happy Caturday LL!

Re: 4/7 Zener AMPS 423;+3 337

Good morning Mr. Z, Anne and Liz!!! Oh Tillie is just so intrigued...so cute!!

Mr Z - why u wearin' KT's pink toad suit? Oh I know...it just had KT's FOOD in it, not KT.... :-D Dat's OK to eat, it's 4%!

I haven't even STARTED our taxes - yuck! Even tho' ours are no longer huge stacks, it still stinks to have to do them. Thank you for the thoughts for us, they mean so much. We're a silly happy bunch of legs here today!

BIG HUG,

Re: 4/7 Zener AMPS 423;+3 337

Really cute pics of Tillie! She looks so still and intent on the squirrel. Zener, keep on coming down. I'm done with taxes, thank goodness. Enjoy your massage, sounds so nice and you deserve it/

+4.5 0.7oz 9%
~6 218, 0.3oz 8%

@Lyresa - Zener is returning the pink toad suit, he is wearing his sunny yellow vest right now. Good luck with your taxes!

@Ann & Maggie - Tillie is very focused in a royal sort of way. When the kitties are in hunting mode (usual prey - bugs) they work together, or more accurately, Zener does the work and Tillie takes the credit. Zener spots and chases, then QTTI (Queen Tillie Tooter the 1st) goes over and adds the coup de grâce .

Hope everyone is enjoying a lovely spring (or autumn) weekend, wherever you are in the LL world!

Re: 4/7 Zener AMPS 423;+3 337;+6 218

 I mistakenly posted a PM to Pip about enzymes to the entire LL list. ohmygod_smile I hope I have sorted out my error and send another to let everyone know I goofed up and so everyone won't feel like they need to respond to me. Several people asked if I would put the discussion in our condo, so here it is.

Pip posted a week or so ago to us about digestive enzymes made by SISU she has used in the past with great success for IBD. We ordered some to try and they arrived today, but I was having trouble sorting out how to use. Here is Pip's reply:

it's the 'blue' bottle, SISU enzymes? I just checked mine and it doesn't actually say what the mg content of each capsule is, but I use one, pulled apart obviously, over their food once a day max.. sometimes I skip a day or two. Given the content, I don't think it's possible to give too much (within reason!) since anything not used will just get flushed thru the system anyway, I tend to use them mainly when the cats seems to be having bowel issues and then only for a week or so at a time, although with Rupert I"ve been trying all sorts (poor fella!) so he's been getting them about once every other day. the human dose is 1-2 capsules with each meal (so I guess up to 6!).

We have used many things as well to help with Zener's appy and transit issues, so are always on the lookout for other options, including homeopathy and herbal in addition to prescription meds, which he has not always tolerated well because of his CH.

@Ann & Tess - slow slidage it is, with a little jump up then a lantus dip at the end. Paws crossed the bounce cleared in one cycle!

Weigh day today. Zener is holding steady around 12 lbs, give or take an ounce, for the past couple of weeks. :thumbup

The mighty Z has been on many yard patrols today. Excellent early spring bird watching too. No squirrels at the ground feeder this evening.

Re: 4/7 Zener PMPS 194

Zener you are the master of the slow slide... I expect green is next. I am so glad that you decided the red floor was to be abandoned. :-D

Love the pics - that was cute. The squirrels here too are not the last bit concerned about the cats. They, the cats, walk right by them without a glance... :?

Enjoy your evening!!

Re: 4/7 Zener PMPS 194;+1 221

Nice recovery there Zener!! Love the Tillie pics. Your squirrels are huge! Charlie would be in heaven. Now let's see some green Zener!

Hope you have a great night and Happy Easter!

Anne - DH's Muay Thai belt is actually a braid. He's just been going for 3 months do it is just yellow. He goes for the boxing, but it is a Muay Thai gym.

Re: 4/7 Zener PMPS 194;+1 221

Late visit tonight (but still early where you are). Nice coming down today, Z. Tillie and Rusty could swap stories on squirrels. And I think your squirrels are HUGE, too. Squirrels on steroids!! Great pics.

Happy Easter,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 4/7 Zener PMPS 194;+1 221

Cute wth Tillie and the squirrel, I never realised squirrels had such big ears!

Come on Zener you are the king of the rainbow, don't disappoint us!

+2, 0.5oz 9%
+3 166, 2/3PP & 3mg Zobaline, 0.7oz 9%

Zener just came in from his last outdoor picnic and backyard tour for the evening. All is well in Zener's domain!

@Michelle & Mannie - we are happy he left the BLECH floor, green would be nice but blue will do!

@ Melissa & Mr T - our squirrels are a special kind that only live where there is Ponderosa Pine forests - the Abert Squirrel, also known as the tassel eared squirrel. When we first moved here we thought they were huge and their ears looked funny. After 15 years now, when we travel back to the midwest we wonder who trimmed the squirrels' ears.

@Ella - yes, still early here on MST (or PDT). Our squirrels are special and their ears are spectacular! Zener is enamored with sliding these days! We like it better than bouncing, not like we have a choice.

Here's hoping the Easter Bunny avoids the hunting champions in LL tomorrow!

He didn't stay in the blue grotto very long tonight, slippage upstream.
