Good morning LL!
Tarragon's numbers have been creeping up. His insulin is over 60 days so I suspect that is the issue. We have been using vials but I am tired of throwing half of it away. I talked to our vet yesterday about the pens. He had never had that request and didn't know a lot about it so he did a bunch of research on his own to put his mind to ease as far as formula, storage, etc. I am picking up a 5 pack at Sam's today after work. Any input on where to order in Canada for the future would be appreciated.
Hopefully the new juice will bring Tarragon back down. In spite of the higher numbers, he has been a very happy furry purry boy, wrestling with his sister as much as she will put up with, cuddling his mama bean at night, bumping and kissing Charlie when Charlie will sit still, and talking talking talking. He definitely has an exciting life from the sounds of it because there is so much to tell when I get in the door.
It has been a crazy week. Charlie is very territorial and takes his duties very seriously in the back yard. Ducks have decided our pool is the perfect place to live and Charlie is continuously telling them otherwise with lots of barking, running, swimming at them, etc. Wednesday night, he got into a fight with a coyote in the back yard. There was no blood drawn thankfully and the coyote was scrambling to get over the fence and get away. Charlie came back limping on his newest repaired leg. Ugh. We have been icing the knee and he is back on Rimadyl. Today the limp is almost gone so I hope it was just strained. He has been on strict bed rest and it is killing him. At least today is rainy and yucky so he doesn't mind being inside so much.
Hope you all have a HAPPY FRIDAY! Woohoo!!! DH is off to Norman today and tomorrow for some male bonding with Mason. They will go to a college baseball game, out to dinner, and then hang out at the hotel together. It's just me and the fur babies tonight, which will be nice and quiet (I hope).
