Good Morning, Everyone,

Another cold, rainy/snowy day in the North Country. Rusty is curled up in his little bed by the radiator. We had a good night, but I did hear him get up early and Edward said that he was eating (the remains of his nighttime food), so I'm pretty sure that his higher AMPS numbers lately are food influenced. In any event, we had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Turkey and a small amount of FF T&G; first sitting was gobbled up) and now the nap. Nothing exciting planned for today. Chores!!!

Our Robin is back again this morning, but his rate of attacking his reflection has slowed. Maybe he's beginning to "get it"!

Sorry to hear that is it still cold, rainy, and snowy. Hope it clears up for you soon. Rusty has the right idea to ride it out by the radiator. Have a great relaxing day!

Morning! Nice start Rusty - mid blue, bet you are green soon. Sounds like the PS number is food influenced. At least you know why it is a little higher than you would like.

Bummer on your weather! I will hope for sunny skies and warm days. I think Rusty has the right idea for today: snuggle up on a cold wintry day.

Enjoy those chores. I hope your day is a good one.

Hi Ella, I have the same thing going on with Maggie with the pre shot being food influenced. Maggie free feeds and although I remove the plate in time, she still may be eating right before that two hour slot! I think my family in PA has the same weather as yours, probably not quite as severe though. Hoping the Robin doesn't continue seeing his reflection. Have a nice day and keep warm.

'Morning Ella. Blue's a nice start to Rusty's day. I never know when Checks eats his leftovers, either.

eta: beautiful sunny day. Supposed to get into 50's . Two entire days of snow is melting fast. Whew!
more editing: Scratching mat? Rusty scoots on a sisal mat?? Ouch??

Nice start especially if it is food influenced. It's always good to have a reason. I hope you get a thaw soon. I like that sisal mat, Tess likes one spot on the carpet. Maybe if I keep one there I'll feel safe to get new carpeting! :lol: :lol:

Hi guys .. ok, we'll count this higher amps as a food spike and keep fingers crossed he brings it back down .. from the sounds of the weather where you are, it doesn't sound like he has much else to do today! have a great day guys!

Not bad at all if that's a food spike. You look good in blue, Rusty, but you are oh-so-handsome in green! Maybe you can put on a little for your Momma today?

It's even cold and blah here in the sunny South...that early spring was a big, fat tease!

Rusty has decided to go the wrong way today. And he's gobbling his food. We'll see what happens next! The sissal mat is not rough sissal, it's just very nicely made. Rusty gives it his seal of approval (but is disappointed that they took the snap-on toy off of the corner).

Sorry you have bad weather, but maybe thats normal for your area of the country. I guess its usually pretty cool here this time of year, but...

No Rusty playing, stories today Ella? I live vicariously thru you and him. I can't play any type of wand toys, with Checks anymore, because I'm afraid of hurting his back. He likes to jump high and twist in the air, for the birdie toys.

Hi again, everyone,

Yes, Barb, we did have a good, energetic play session this afternoon with the tinsel wand, the sack, and the 2 bell balls. Rusty had just come in from a brief observation of the squirrels at the birdfeeder. He wanted to get out of the rain and the wind (he really doesn't like wind; I wonder if he encountered a hurricane or other bad storm during his time on the streets).

I guess we can call today flat blue. I never know what he's going to do these days!

For those of you who read my post in Mannie's condo about the scratch mat, the link I gave there was to a different brand than the one Rusty likes. Here's the link to the one with the snap-in "featherhead" toy.:

CD, thanks for visiting Rusty this afternoon. He is doing pretty well, but the mild pancreatitis has messed up his bgs! How are you doing?

Rusty sure is a flat blue cat today isn't he? Maybe he doesn't like the wind because it messes up his nice fur-do. No encounters lately with Shadow?

When will spring spring down there?

It's still cold & snowy in NY? Rusty got all the blue like our weather here; nice sunny blue sky today. Hope Rusty enjoy his good weather, Spring is near!

Ella--- Moonie & Rusty are playing on the Blue Floor...I cant believe that you are still in winter mode up there--sooo so sorry!! There is the owl sillouette you could put on the window to fend off mr robin?
Hope good weather is coming your way & life warms up sweetly for you all...
