Good morning LL. Sending lots of healing energy to Sid & Teena and our other LL family in need. Must be something going around with civvie kitties as Tillie, post-birthday bash, had a pukus episode this morning. She seems to be doing okay now, just a little low energy but she is eating fine. Zener had a stinkus pinkus start after his flat yellow night and is flat yellow again this morning so far. Sunny cool day today, lovely weather and Zener is feeling good. He has been on several rounds of the backyard, decent appy, pee in the garage LB last night and successful morning poo patrol. Ah, it's a good day.

@Serryn - we wonder if Tillie ate too much cake - pukus this morning. :roll: Zener is hanging in far too many pinks and yellows for our liking.

We suspect the fattening is not doing the trick and are planning to go back to his last good dose tonight - 1.5u - and start over again from there. In looking back at his last reduction, right before I was away for a week, that perhaps we should have shaved after the last earned reduction instead of the full 0.25 decrease, hindsight of course! :roll: And we wanted to make sure he was safe while I was in London and Liz was BIC. So, the challenge has been issue! Stay tuned. :lol:

Zener had a nice slow slide today from pinkus stinkus to mid-blues, then came up a bit at PMPS - almost like a "normal" cycle, not that we ever see those from the mighty Z! :lol: So, dosecrease in place, back to the last good dose 1.5u. Paws crossed this will get the big guy some lower numbers all around. He is feeling good tonight, good appy, picnic and yard guard duty. Snow gone and it's a lovely evening.

Zener is very happy the weather has warmed back up. He is hoping to get some back porch time tonight after dark on this wild Friday evening. :twisted: We hope everyone in LL has a lovely Friday evening.

Good luck on the dosecrease and look at little Zener's nice blue pm pre shot! It's amazing what a threat will do to them! Glad to see all the good things are normal with yard patrol, pool patrol and lb garage patrol. :lol: Poor Zener, does he know we are following all his moves? Sending feel better vines to Tillie. @Ann & Maggie - he had a nice PMPS, then popped up to yellow and now back to blue. At first, we thought he might be bouncing up again but came down, so perhaps a food spike? @Sienne - thanks for the good luck, we'll take it! He has been pretty consistently high in the AM and we're not quite sure why. He had some blues and yellows at the 1.5, so maybe we will see a change. :lol: It's almost like he has one nadir a day. Any thoughts, input, suggestions, musings are welcome!

@Ann & Tess - Zener loves to start off running like the black cat smilie, and then he usually falls over because of his CH. He never lets that slow him down though and back up he goes! He has such a great cattitude. cat_pet_icon

We shall see what the extra juice does. We have a pretty low key weekend, so can test as needed. And only one more week of classes, then final exam week and then school's out for the summer!!!!

When is Zener's last snack during the AM vs. PM cycle? It looks like you're giving him a snack at +9 or +10 during the day but not at night. If food is stimulating his pancreas to produce endogenous insulin, it would pull the PMPS down.

We leave a bit of 5% carbs or freeze dried chicken out in the auto feeder at night between +8 and +10. Once we started doing that, we rarely had morning scarf & barf, but he doesn't always eat it.
