Happy Monday to all!

Well, Lucy has decided that she is ready to start her OTJ trial today. A nice green 94 to start the week off!
She is very excited about not having to be poked and prodded multiple times a day..heck, I'm excited for that! Here is yesterday: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=69817

Well, so much for a Ms. Green showing up at preshot time ohmygod_smile

Will test at +3 and see where she is at..hoping she is just checking out the blues!

don't worry yet. Sometimes they bobble around for a bit before they settle into green. We're watching for an upward trend, but a higher number every now and then is ok. Getting a +3 after food is a good idea.

Oh, Lucy, you are going the wrong way.

I never asked this question, but how high can they go to still be OTJ?

I hope whatever number it is, that you will be celebrating DAY TOO tomorrow!

Well we are creeping slowly down! It is in the right direction, so I'm ok with that!

Not sure what others have been told, but when I first started home testing, my vet said 'ideal' range for bg is somewhere between 70 and 180.

Thanks for all the support! I'm sure Lucy will have a nice green for us in the morning! :mrgreen:
 
She has AMBG and PMBG now - no PS - whoo hoo go Lucy happy day 1.

If you get another number above 120 feed and test in 4 hours, it may take her a little longer to process the food.
