5/3 Rusty PMPS 68, +4.5 70

Good Morning, Everyone,

It looks like Rusty has bounced a little after his near-perfect day yesterday. I don't think the AMPS is food influenced, but it may be in part. In any event, Rusty was hungry for his breakfast this morning (triple turkey platter: Wellness, FF T&G, By Nature). We had a difficult test (it took 4 pokes to get blood; Edward is sleeping in this morning and Rusty decided to have his test on the floor, thus making it more difficult for me to get at his ear!). We did have a good shot, however. Now he is having a nap in his little bed by the radiator (heat doesn't need to come on this morning, but it is damp and rainy, so I may put it up a notch). I think I'll go btb, too! It's a dark, dreary day. bbl,

Ooh Ella, dontcha hate it when he decides he wants the test or shot in an inconvenient place? :roll: Rusty's a big boy to be picking up from the floor. Checks is only 9#, but I'm afraid of hurting his back....or mine, by picking him up.

I hope you got some extra sleep this morning.
We had a thunder storm with wicked lighning last night. The thunder sounded like it was coming through the roof.
Okay, so that wouldn't take much....it's a mobile home. :lol:

Hi you guys...better numbers to come as Rusty dances his way to greens... (exercise is supposed to lower BGs, right? With hte full moon coming and all the partying, BGs will be CRAZY around here, I bet!)

So Rusty... yes, I shall be wearing my tiara for the parties on account of the crown doesn't stay on so well when i am crazy dancing.....Shadow wants to nail it on my head but i told him he is such a Silly Goose. Where does he get these crazy ideas anyway Rusty? :roll:
I have reserved quite a few dances on my dance card for you.....I hope you're ready to do some heavy partying...this is going to be a marathon week I think! :mrgreen:

Not bad AMPS for Rusty, but I know he can do better. Little buggar on testing on the floor. They do like to take control sometimes huh? Damp and dreary sounds like the perfect time to head btb and snuggle in.

All agreed that the BTB was a good idea, i wish I had. No worries, Rusty will be on duty patrolling the Lagoon soon.

Hi again,
It's been a low-energy day for Rusty. He's been sleeping and enjoying FF T&G while eating around his other food. I took Edward to his chiropractor in the later afternoon, so Rusty missed his +9 test. But we had a nice hour outside when we got back. He was enthusiastic to have his dinner and has eaten all the FF and a lot of the Wellness. He probably will finish the rest over the course of the evening. That seems to be his pattern since the pancreatitis. I wonder how long it takes for it to be over?

The small-motors mechanic finished fixing our riding lawn mower and brought it back this afternoon. It works!! I am really glad we found this guy. Other than that it has been a nice, mostly rainy day.

Hope you all are having a good evening. It sounds like our kitties have quite a few social events planned: OTJ party tonight for Ruby, house party at Mocha's, and the Full Flower Moon Party, which may be in Florida, at Shadow and Raja's, where there are lots of flowers.

Sounds like a great day for all there. I am impressed with the mechanic guy - what I would give to find one of those.

I hope your day has been a good one. I cannot believe all these parties that the kitties have planned. They have better social lives then we do! :lol: :lol:

We had about 2 hours of violent thunderstorms and I had to turn off my computer. They seem to be over, but it's late, so I'll finish visiting condos tomorrow.
