Now starts the bounce.
All P's are in place.
DC is a little off today.

Today marks 7 years since we lost DC's beautiful brother AC to respiratory failure.
RIP my sweet angel. We miss you and think of you always.
AC was a wonderful big boy. He was the 1st born from a litter of 10 and DC was the runt.
He was very affectionate and loving.
He always waited for DC to finish eating before he would eat.
And the two of them always played together and slept together.
The two were inseparable. When AC passed, all DC would do was go around the house looking for him and wailing.
I couldn't leave the house without taking DC with me. He even rode with me on the motorcycle. He just didn't want to be alone.

Today DC keeps running out the door every time it opens and runs to where AC is buried.
He just lays there crying. It's so sad and I don't know how to deal with it.

Awwww Noreen. My thoughts are with you and DC today. AC and DC were so very connected weren't they. Both of your boys are beautiful.

Maybe sitting outside with DC next to where AC is buried. Putting out a little blanket.....take some of DC's treats and snacks for yourself......and just taking some time today to remember your sweet AC together......May your memories of the good times you had with your boy boy carry you through this day.

aw, somehow DC knows. anniversaries can be very sad. AC's pics are wonderful - he looks like such a huggable guy with wonderful fur! his eyes - they are looking right at your soul, aren't they?

it's a gift to be able to share life with one of our little ones. i feel sorry for people who don't ever have that, but it sure is hard on us when they leave.

sending you hugs, noreen.

DC really does know. I'd think about sitting there with him and sharing some memories. And give DC some treats and hugs for remembering and caring about his brother.

I'm sorry that you and DC are having a sad day today, remembering AC's passing. The photos of AC are beautiful. What a sweet face and beautiful markings and eyes he had. I love that the two brothers were named AC and DC. DC must feel AC's presence today. I don't know of any other way to deal with the sad feelings but to do what you are doing - sharing your memories of him.

At least the bounce wasn't too bad.
DC and I spent a couple hours in the yard this afternoon remembering AC.
I can't believe it's been 7 years already.
Sometimes it seems like just yesterday he was sitting on my lap purring.
AC had the loudest purr of any cat I've ever known.
You could hear him from the basement even when he was in the upstairs bedroom.

DC is now sleeping in a box on the living room floor.
He didn't eat his full meals today. I think he's about 1 1/2 ounces short.
He seems to be ok otherwise.

One more picture of DC with AC's picture.
A good friend of mine drew it for me the Christmas after AC's passing.
DC used to always sleep on the shelf beside it until we brought Frisky into our home.
Sometimes he still sleeps beside it.
