Not a bad start for Sir KT this morning! I LIKE those 100's/blues! He's pretty well timed his morning shots and heads to his table about 5 minutes before test/shoot time. Sure is nice not to go hunting him! He's feeling well this morning - I've noticed that the lower numbers no longer cause him to be 'blech'....he's up roaming around looking for trouble...
It was a year ago about now that KT started laying around, his pees were HUGE, he tried to drain the water bowl several times a day. His eyes were so tired looking, his hair looked like someone had doused him with cooking oil. At this time, we weren't noticing it all....I was beginning to wonder about the huge pees and lots of water but he'd always drank and peed LOTS thru his life. He still has 2 weeks before we finally put it all together and take him to the vet....our one year anniversary of dx is coming June 8th....the first day I almost fainted, shook, sat on the floor, cried, gasped for breath...and shot my kitty....and he purred. I had no computer, mine had been eaten by a nasty worm so I was on my own...knowing I needed to be testing but NO idea how. Vet said don't worry about testing, bring him back in 2 weeks for another test.
Harley - haven't done an update lately. He's doing WONDERFUL! His neck knots are still about ping pong ball size, he's just plain silly, grinning, running, chasing marsh flies and butterflies, feeling so much better than he has in a long time! He SO much lives 'in the moment' and reminds me often that I need to do the same. He still gets his steroid daily and iron pill every other day but other than that, he's not on any other meds.
Schniggles - she BARKS! YipYipYipYip - yep, one of those....we've figured out more and we're both learning to communicate with each other. Do you know how many different words people use for 'go pee silly girl'? I can't seem to find her 'command'....
DH seems to be doing better today - he didn't choke on his pills and is walking strong. Sure makes my life easier for an hour or two. I need to go around and spray poison ivy today.
I kicked a box barefooted last night and broke my little toe....again...the poor thing is mutilated by now. This is like the 10th time. No I STILL won't wear shoes.... Can't stand them....
