Another rainy day today, and Daphne isn't too happy. She is moving a little better, maybe it has something to do with the kind of rain, the sun comes out for a while, then rains, then sun. So maybe its not so hard on her arthritis. I don't think I want to give her the bupe today, unless she really looks like she is in more pain. I guess we could even go outside, when the sun is out, but everything is soaking wet. I hate NJ weather.

I tried to put a picture on here, but I lost it. It was so pretty of Daphne in a ray of sunlight. I love when sun captures things in a photo. I'll try again.

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who need them today.

Nice day for Daphne today! The picture came through. She is such a beautiful kitty! Hope you have a great day!

Great picture, and she is beautiful. I see the rays of sun behind her. I'm glad she seems to be feeling better. Sorry about another rainy day and hope for some nice weather soon.

Pretty kitty Barb:) Hope she was able to catch some healing sunshine rays today in between the rain showers.

Thank you everyone for saying that Daphne was pretty, I just told her, and she wanted to see the picture to make sure it was her best side  If only I took her backside, it is getting so matted, and she will not let us touch her there. I think the next time I give her the bupe, it may be good for a few trims of that matting. I had her professionally groomed a few times, but I know how traumatized she gets from that, and I would hate to have her BG go crazy.

Wow, when I said, I hated NJ weather, I guess the sun goddess heard me, we actually got a bit of sun today!

What a gorgeous picture of Daphne! Yeah, my two long haired civvies are absolute knot-meisters. They usually let me trim them, for the most part, but it can be hit or miss. We did have to give Petey a lion cut once, but I really don't like doing that...having to sedate him and all that.

I hope you guys are having a great evening!

Look at those nice numbers today & Thank You for caring about my Moonie--I do appreciate it..
Daphne is a beautiful Regal looking lady, so so pretty!! Please tell her I said so..
Sending Hugs & Love from us!

Our babies are always the prettiest! Daphne looks great with the ray of sunshine on her. They love praising, praise her while you do the trimming, Daphne may even loves it!
I am so surprised to meet a lot of fellow pet owners at the vet clinic & find out they never talk to their pet! They never tell them things, just treat them as pet. I think it is so important to communicate & talk with them. They do understand. Aw! People will think I am crazy! I even talk to my brother's birds while I take care of them when my brother's on vacation. Tell them what you're doing, they'll cope better. And of course, my brother laughed at me for talking to the birds!

Great picture, Daphne, you are very beautiful. :-D And beautiful numbers, too.

I agree, Helen, we talk to our cats all the time. I think they totally understand what we say to them, especially when we tell them how wonderful they are.

Daphne appreciates all the compliments from all of you, she feels so special!

And, yes, I talk to her all day long, sometimes I know she must be thinking, "oh, please mom, how much can you possibly want to tell me that I don't already know" I talk to all animals, or at least the ones that will listen  I get so insulted when I have a guest that doesn't say hi to my pets. How can anybody ignore them, they want to be noticed and cared about just like anyone else. I'm so happy I found LL, its the only place I can say this, and know, everybody here knows this too.

Keep us posted Roni, give sweet Moonie an extra hug tonight :YMHUG:

YUPP!!! This is so true!

Us too! :-D :-D
Proud to be a crazy cat lady,
Liz

I love Daphne's photo - she really is such a pretty kitty. Good luck with the mats - I fight this all the time with Mannie too. He hates anyone messing with his backside too....

and Daphne: good job on those BG's - I like the green!

What a gorgeous photo, Barb! Daphne is so beautiful! I also can't believe people that don't talk to their furry critters. How do they expect them to learn words if they don't talk to them? Of course they understand a lot of what we say if we talk to them and teach them. If they're never spoken to then possibly those animals may not understand much. My cats and dogs always had a large vocabulary that they understood. They learn a lot from listening and watching you.

Calli could open door handles and cabinets from studying how we did it. Racci understands the names of different rooms in the house and doing different things and a lot of the everyday things we do. I tell her we're going some place and she meets me in there. I tell her to turn around and she does. All kinds of things. Some people just don't have a clue.

Anyway, I'm so glad Daphne's arthritis wasn't too bad today and you got some sun. We got very little. We've been having these thunder and lightening storms every day with a lot of wind. yuck!
Time for bed for me. Good night!
