Good Friday Morning Everyone, and happy holiday weekend,

Rusty is starting out green, had a good test, shot, breakfast and is napping in his basket. We're about to take him outside. I hear the squirrels scolding a cat, but it's not Rusty (no doubt it's the Shadow).

My sister is arriving tomorrow morning, so I have some getting ready to do. We also have to mow the part of the lawn that can be seen from the street so that we don't look like absolute slobs for the Memorial Day Weekend. (The rest of the lawn will remain "pristine" with its beautiful forget-me-nots.)

Wishing everyone a great holiday weekend. We will put out our flag, but, as is customary with us, we will wait until the real Memorial Day (31 May) to remember.

Morning! I love the Rusty photo. He is such a beautiful kitty. And with fantastic BG this morning. Rusty you made green.

How fun! Yiur sister is coming. A paddle for you guys?

Too fun on the lawn mowing. I like the pristine option. And the forget me nots.

I love the pic, too! Rusty you are one beautiful kitty, and that from both Maggie and me. Nice green AMPS, too! I bet you are excited for the sister visit. Have a nice time today, Ella.

Hi guys .. oh rusty .. I could just gobble you right up you are so sweet!!! I love the green start to the day .. bummer on the lawn mowing .. we have that on our chore chart as well .. have a great holiday weekend!

Have a great weekend! I agree on the pristine field! However ours is all dried up now and we have to mow for fire season. :-x

Hi again,
This was a really busy day doing mowing and yard work. We planted petunias in the window boxes and poor Rusty got stuck between the sliding porch window and the screen! I didn't see this happen and Edward thought he was meowing because he wanted to be outside with us (Edward was outside, by the window). I came in and saw Rusty's predicament!! He couldn't go forward and there was no room to turn around. So I got the window open as far as it would go and helped him back out. He's fine.

It looks like we are getting the storms. It just started to rain (11 P.M.). My sister arrives tomorrow.

Sending much sympathy to Karen on the loss of her sweet Gem. Sending healing vines to Moonie, Rocket, and all kitties in need.
