Checks was being obnoxiously loud in the kitchen this morning, yelling at me to get up.
Being the sweet mommy I am, I muttered a bad word at him, and stumbled to the testing supplies, fully expecting a 35...after all, why would he be so insistent that I get up NOW!! It just had to be an emergency, right?
Little bugger was yellow :!:

Doesn't he know the story of the boy who cried wolf?

I KNOW if Binks could manage it, he'd have the coffee made before he wakes me up...
that way his foodies would be more quickly served!!!

The Tortie girls just stay out of my way when i first get up for fear of being stepped on-
but Binks is so used to my early am grogginess that he herds me around the house fearlessly.

Yay, BLUE, my second favorite color :-D

My boy is so sweet, he let his little brother take over his after-test, tuna snack.
Of course, he let me know about it......he doesn't suffer in silence. :lol:

GO CHECKS!! I had to laugh over the insistence that you get up, all that yelling in the kitchen. I cannot count the number of times Mannie has done that, and me too thinking he got to be really low only to get a yellow. Seriously guys? :roll: :roll:

No matter how many times they called wolf, the poor mumbeans still panicked, fiddling with the testing meter & getting all the HC yummies out! :lol: :lol:
They are the best actor!

Yikes, we haven't seen that color in a while, thank goodness.
He has been eating LC all day, except for.........uhh , do I have to tell? :roll:

I've had Clancy, the rescue kitty, for 3 years, and he still tries to cover his food, when he's finished; usually only wet food.
Well today, he tried to cover the kibble with a little throw rug, and spilled it, of course.
Checkers heard the kibble and come running....literally...and managed to snare a half dozen or so, while I was cleaning them up.
He's so carb sensitive..okay, kibble sensitive, that I wouldn't be surprised if that's what got him up to red.

Could be a bounce from yesterday afternoon lows.

Come on tomorrow, hurry up!

Nice blue for Checkers. That sounds exactly like Maggie with the loud chatter way before the alarm. I got to sleep in til the normal hour to get up. :-D Hope you had a nice day and got out and had some fun if the kitties allowed.

Checkers...really? Are those few bites of kibble really worth that number and stressing out your mama? Looks like you have some nice sleep time ahead of you, Barb. :-D

Oh my goodness Checkers, what did you do to your beautiful numbers? I hope it was worth it to eat those 6 pieces of kibble. :shock:

oh ouch! well, sleep well tonight and one can start anew in the morning. Somehow I bet Checkers savored very little crunch. I can so see him running - probably at warp speed. Clancy is probably telling him - dude: over here - I stashed a few more for ya. :shock:

Oh Checks...really??? Actually, that's how Trix is around Wellness (which is what Mario and Frankie eat)...I cannot believe how fast she can be when she wants to. And even though Wellness is LC, it sends her BG through the roof...I think she knows that.

Time to clear that kibble, young man!
