Lots of catching up to do....
Atlas had a nice blue surf yesterday....he was quite the alarm clock this morning at 3am....
Clearing and COLD....
For those of you following along on my Pet Sitting Business...
We had a nice stroke of luck! Not sure exactly how it is going to play out, but none of it will be bad. One of my clients works as a leasing agent for 5 Apartment buildings in my very local area. All the buildings are 'pet friendly.' Last weekend I gave her some of my "new" client referral cards with her own pet's picture on them. Well...these kinda' wowed her (free samples from Moo.com using their printfinity technology...they are way cool, able to print a diferent image on every card). She shared them at the office, she was so excited to hand them out and show off her 4-footed babies...well one thing led to another and we(my company) has been asked to provide exclusive pet sitting/dog walking services to their tenants. Can you say I am falling all over myself to grab this opportunity? Brochures, Rack cards, flyers into new tenant packets, Pet Corner articles for their newsletters and we're trying to coordinate a Yappy Party and/or Puppy Pool Party to rollout our arrival.... I am trying to push off the full rollout until after July 4th.
If you haven't been out to my company FB page we've gotten some great spontaneous client comments from last weekend too! Plus we definately landed a client away from The Barkley Hotel. (a limo picks up the pets).
I have two new client consults this weekend and one client that just got a new puppy and family member was "discarding" now that the newness had worn off. . Bad news for them is I think the family member got taken on the dog. Unless there are papers to prove this little guy is an American Bulldog...I think they got one of the hybrid pit bulls. And she has expressed concerns how 'rough' this puppy is at 5 months. Drawback is these clients are Lab owners, not Bully owners. But she is suddenly aware this dog is not going to be 'easy.' And if he is a hybrid pit...he is out of my league as well.
Plus I have the monthly books to catch-up on....
