Morning ~O) ~O) a little bounce with the 151 or Mags may have eaten close to the +10! She had a really nice cycle yesterday, and we're hoping for the same today. :-D My Maggie alarm clock was back on duty with just an hour earlier with the chatty wake-up call from Mags in the living room. She let me stay in bed until the regular alarm went off, and this time I didn't forget to set it. All is well with Maggie with four P's in place, and the last P to come later. I wonder what it is with the shower and Maggie talking a blue streak. I always tell her it's okay, I'll be out soon. :lol:
Today is kick back day with a walk and catch up things, maybe a trip to Petco with some donations to Animeals and visit the Adoption Center.

Maybe Maggie's worried you'll drown in the shower?

Good to hear Maggie wouldn't let you sleep in this morning. I don't know how you visit those adoption centres, every time i go to Petsmart i can't bear to look at those sad little faces behind the glass, it always breaks my heart and i want to take each and every kitty home with me.

Have you heard how Kitsi is doing?

Hi Tracy,
I know it is hard, as I would love to take a few home, too. The Petco employees let me give them extra love and it seems to help them not be so lonely. There is a group of mentally challenged children who come and give them lots of love every day. The kitties are placed in a huge cage where the kids just sit there and pet them and play with them. The interaction is beautiful to watch. The kitties have all been fostered beforehand and don't seem to stay long before being adopted.

Kitsi is doing wonderfully! Grace's daughter (Pam) gave him a home, and after a couple days he seemed to adapt just as if he had lived there forever. She sleeps at the bottom of the bed, just as she did with Grace. I hope to visit her some day. Pam never had any cats of her own, so this is a new experience. I think Kitsi is a comfort to her. Thanks for asking on her.

Awwww that's great to hear, a happy ending for Kitsi! I bet Pam and Kitsi help to comfort each other.

Great day to kick back. I always have to visit the kitties too, but I know Tess really loves being an only cat. I have a bag of food Tess can no longer have to go to the animal shelter. I've got to get there soon.

Mags is looking wonderful!!! My daughter won't let me walk by the cats for adoption because I always get sad. I want to take them all home!!

Thanks Tracy, Pat & Shadow, Ann & Tess, and Patty & Champ for the visits to check on Maggie. She's done well again today.! :-D We've both been napping a lot together today. I did get a nice walk in and was walking home when one of my neighbors was just starting a walk with her dog. So I joined them and got in more walking. Yes, very happy outcome for Kitsi to stay with family. I am so happy for her. Maggie's on her umpteenth nap right now! :lol:

It's so nice that the Petco near you has an initiative for children with exceptionalities to come and give the kitties some attention. That sounds so wonderful for both the kitties and the kids :smile:

Very lovely day for Maggie, as well as wonderful reporst on Kitsi and the kitties at the adoption center! I'm like Tracy...I just can't bring myself to go, otherwise you guys would be seeing me on the kitty version of "Hoarders" :lol: ! I'm totally overwhelmed with my 6, but at the same time I cannot stand that there are so many more that actually need homes. It's so heartwarming to know that there are special needs kids that visit them every day! I hope all the PetSmarts do this...it has to be awesome for both the kitties and the kids.

Hi Ann - sorry for the late visit. I have no clue where the day went, and was condo-less. :shock: :oops: It does look like Maggie had a very good day today. love the greens. It is very funny with her chatter when you are in the shower. She misses her bean!

What a nice day for you. Extra walk time, Maggie nap time. Very cool! Exceptionally nice with the kitties ad the kids. I really like that.
