Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is still high from his trip and/or bouncing from the greens yesterday. He is spending most of his time sleeping. I hope he'll perk up today. He wasn't much interested in breakfast (but I don't know when he finished his nighttime food; it may have been shortly before we got up). He did not have any FF T&G for breakfast, only BG turkey. Yesterday I had to feed more FF T&G than anything else, because he only ate the T&G and left the other food (Wellness; By Nature) in the dish! Today I am not presenting him with a choice.

His foot/leg seems much better today when he walks, but he still sticks the right leg out to the side when he sits. We have a vet appt. for Tuesday to have her look at his foot and to give him his shots. We decided that even though Rusty was titered (sp?), we want him to have the FVRCP shot anyway, just to be on the safe side. He might catch another squirrel!

We have some sunshine this cold (45 degrees) morning, but rain is predicted for this afternoon, so I am going to get out on my bike now.

bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Sounds like someone only wants to eat FF T&G, I've never really fed much of it to Leo since the only carb content i could find online said it was 7%? Correct me if i'm mistaken please.

I hope your foot is feeling much better soon Rusty, so you can get back to chasing squirrels.

Have a great day Ella and Rusty.

Re: 6/3 Rusty AMPS 167

Morning everyone!

A little high for Rusty, bet maybe he feels that. I hope he will find the greens again soon today. :-D It seems like maybe it takes him a couple of days to settle in after a trip. GO RUSTY! think green.

I think that it probably a good idea to get the one shot - that one can't hurt, and least you can rest assure, for sure, that he is protected. The nighty hunter just might score again. :-D

Enjoy your ride today!

Re: 6/3 Rusty AMPS 167

Hi Ella, I free feed Maggie and she's on the high side this morning for her. I think they both probably eat close to the +10 or so and thus the higher AMPS. Maggie gets picky with certain batches of Wellness Turkey the same as Rusty. The cases I order online are more chunky and she prefers them. This latest batch was bought locally and more mushy, mousse like and she doesn't like as much. Hope Rusty's leg is feeling better today. Kitties planning on a visit to him.

I sure hope Rusty gets back to his completely normal self soon. I'll keep him in my thoughts for a good vetty visit!!!

Hope you have a great day!!!

That's more like Rusty!   The kitters all decided to kep rusty company for a nice lazy day on the porches. Just so he rests his foot of course!

Boy, Rusty! I don't know how you spend soooooo much time in the Green Lagoon. I gets tired from all that surfing. It will be nice to rest w/ you on the porches and maybe i can sit in Aunt Ellabean's lap? It's been a long time! -- Tess

Hi again,
I never did get back to the board today (except to update Rusty's numbers). After my 2-hour, hilly bike ride (exhausting; I am really out of shape!), I got caught up in professional correspondence and there went the afternoon and early evening.

Rusty had a pretty good day with outdoor time (he spent a lot of time looking for the chipmunk, who, fortunately, was not to be found). His appetite was not stellar. Finally I had to resort to FF T&G, which was gobbled up. Has anyone ever heard of a canned food called 360 Pet? One of the supermarkets in Lake Placid carries it. The T&G is similar to FF, but has "water" instead of "turkey broth" and lists "natural and artificial flavorings" instead of "artificial and natural flavorings" (FF). I bought a can to try ($.49 for a 3-oz. can, which provides 85 calories (FF T&G does not give calorie info.).

I hope you all had a good Sunday with your kitties. Rusty was such a lovebug this morning when I got back from my ride: he purred and headbutted and squirmed all over the table!

Sounds like both you and Rusty pants had a good day. Way to go conquering a 2 hour hilly bike ride! I'm tired just thinking about it :-D

Hope Rusty agree to let you have a good sleep tonight! ;-)

Thanks for visiting me today, kitties. We had a good, relaxing time on the porches. Tomorrow is Full Strawberry Moon Party at Camp Stu. Mark your calendars!

I hope the vet can give you something to help his foot. He's getting some nice green!

Tobey packed his suitcases tonight to help you with the cookies. :-D sorry about the syringes. I wondered. ....
