It's our every other morning yellow start today. The bouncy behavior let BIC get to bed early last night. :-D
I was a little worried about getting up on time, so set two alarm clocks. About 10 minutes before the alarm, two furry purry alarm clocks came up on the bed. Zener gave his little quiet meow, got up on the bed when the meow alarm didn't work and turned his purr on high volume. And right behind him, the Queen of Everything, jumped up on the bed trilling and allowed me to scratch her back.

After a slow eating start last night, the big guy ate like a lumberjack. Whew.

Chief Inspector Crapdash is working solo this week while Detective Poo is on holiday. The Chief Inspector is not the best multi-tasker but last night Crapdash notice the mighty Z in a thorough search for the best place to dig his way to the center of the earth. Having binoculars at hand, the Chief Inspector, followed the suspicious behavior and ohmygod_smile - Success. Although it was an impressive dig, the deposit was no where near the hole. You gotta love the enthusiasm though.

Liz arrived in KY yesterday and is driving several hours this morning and will arrive at her sister's in southern Illinois mid day.

Wishing all a good day!

Re: 6/6 Zener AMPS 282

Good Morning Anne. Grinning big time here, to hear Zener is eating well. :-D
Funny on digging to the center of the earth, just to miss the hole. Checks digs to the bottom of the box, and it cracks me up to hear his deposits hit plastic.
Watching it all with binoculars has me grinning also. This is a fun condo today. :-D
Glad Liz's plane trip was a safe one.

Re: 6/6 Zener AMPS 282

Come on down Zener! Those yellow starts are kind of nice, especially when you are flying solo BIC. How sweet that they made sure you got up! It must be a boy girl thing. Tarragon always does it with purrs and sweet meows. Turnup is like a freight train though and much less patient. There is no ignoring her!

Love it!!!! Glad Zener is feeling good, eating and pooing. Digging is always good, even if it is in the wrong spot.

Anne - Have you watched the game yet? If not, I won't spoil it for you. If so, I have to ask that you become a bama fan.

Yay for Liz making her way into the bowels of the country. Quite the drive. Hope you have a wonderful time visiting your family!!

Re: 6/6 Zener AMPS 282

Chief Inspector Crapdish  so funny with Zener missing the hole. I bet it was dark is the reason, right Zener! bGlad he has a good appy. What good furry purry alarm clocks, too. Have a nice day, Anne.

Re: 6/6 Zener AMPS 282

Well, his intentions were good, his instincts were right, he just is not a good judge of space! Did he cover it up?

Have a good day Anne, being BIC. Have a fine visit with your sister, Liz. We once lived in Bloomington, Indiana for an academic year and know how hard it is to get to places in the "Heartland"!

@Barb - Zener eating makes everything else manageable. ;-) In January Zener had a bad episode with poor motility, vomiting, stopped eating and we syringe fed for several days. It took a bit to get him going and since then we have been diligent about monitoring his GI function - so Detective Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash were born. Crapdash is named for the "happy crap dash" (from Celi and Binks, I think) that some kitties do after poo behavior.

@Melissa - Zener must not have read his condo before his +1. Tillie is much more demanding, but she is the queen of everything and in the midst of all the jubilee celebrations! So sorry about the game, but OU ended on a positive note. Just in case, I am now a bama fan.

@Ann & Maggie - wish we could say it was dark, but the sun was up. His balance is always a bit suspect because of his CH. Still, he covered it all very well.

@Ella - you are so right, Zener has the best intentions! He covered it, and now there is still a nice hole for later maybe... Liz grew up in central Illinois and we both went to grad school at Univ of Illinois, so we did our time in the midwest. Used to go to IU in Bloomington every summer for the National Women's Music Festival when it was there, back in the day!

Maybe we will have a little pokey break kind of day and I can get away later to the gym.

LOL on Crapdash's report...   . You go, Zener!!!

I see The Man is easing his way towards PMPS, as well. Good boy, Z!!

Re: 6/6 Zener PMPS 244;+1 271

So much for the slide. He hit yellows and cruised in flat yellows the rest of the day. If this is a bounce, it's not a bad one for the mighty Z.

Zener ate like a lumberjack at PMPS. I fed him 1.5oz, a big dinner for him. I wasn't paying attention very closely after he finished his dinner. I had also fed Tillie a 2nd dinner and she didn't eat it all. And what do you know....Zener cleaned her bowl too. Wow!

@Amy - Crapdash at your service! Zener stayed in yellows today, so we shall see what happens tonight...

Vetty visit tomorrow afternoon, a month check up after Zener's anal glands were expressed. If all looks good, then we will get to go a little longer before the next anal gland check.

Hope everyone is having a good evening!

Nothing like a 100 point drop from PMPS to +2. Looks like the bounce is breaking!

@Michelle & Mannie - Zener must be reading his condo again, and he is following your instructions!

Watching the women's college world series final game, delayed 3 hours by rain, so I'll be up to get more tests.
