Hello. Hope everyone is doing okay tonight.
I have posted over in Relaxed and in Health identical posts regarding what happened at the vet today. I have not been able to get Max regulated despite keeping him hydrated and getting his shot on time for quite a while now. His numbers range from the low 80s to the mid-500s. I had his teeth cleaned under sedation today. No extractions were done. The tech could not see any particular teeth which indicated there were any cavities, but no x-rays were done, digital or otherwise (because he was only sedated not under). Due to this lack of evidence, the vet cautions against putting him under to get x-rays. He did have gingivitis. We are starting a course of Clavamox today.
He had urine, blood, and renal tests as well as an "abnormal" SNAP test for pancreatitis. There are some numbers on his paperwork that the vet didn't mention to me, but that worry me.
