Boy this heat is really affecting Atlas' appetite...and thereby his Bg. Eating very little during the day and then eating everything in sight overnight. Gonna have to take some added precautions today. Skinny up the dose a drop or two, not much though. He is only eating 2 out of 3 nuggets at breakfast ...and then I can't blame him...it is too hot to eat by about 10am. I think that is contributing to these high morning numbers and then green numbers for pmps. (yes, we have the ac running but it is set for 78F)
I myself am skipped breffis too, had and awesome veggie sandwich for lunch, but still had a great deal of heat troubles in the afternoon walking dogs on short breaks. Nothing overly serious but by my last visit I was exhausted due to dehydration. 3 big glasses of ice water had me perk up about 20 minutes later.
We're packing the limeade cooler today!
