Not a bad cycle, wonder if he went any lower...

Update on Doug: They took more X-rays and confirmed it's at least a 2nd degree separation. Third degree would require surgery. More pain meds, Ibuprofen and added a muscle relaxer. He can return to work Monday with restrictions (like not using that arm, no lifting, etc.) and has a follow-up next Thursday. The hope is the swelling will have gone down enough for the next set of X-rays to show for certain the degree.

AND - my boy is home for the weekend!! He works at a summer camp and had a free weekend - YAY!

He's starving, so guess it's time to fix supper

I hate I missed them, but glad he seems to have stayed in safe numbers. Even though they aren't enthused about it, I really need to teach the kids how to test him...especially for days like today.

Come on Hershey....we know you can get into nicer numbers on this dose!!!

Libby...did you know that if you test on the half hour, you can enter it into the square on your SS? It would make it easier to read and know when you tested than having to scroll all the way down to read the note. Just a suggestion. You can look at Gracie's SS to see how I do it....it's simple and I do usually make the font smaller.

Welcome home to your boy@ How fun. And I hope Doug gets some relief for his shoulder. it sounds very painful. Healing vines headed his way.

I've been entering it on the SS, just rounding to the nearest hour, inserting comments and adding it to the comments at the right. If you hover over the square, you're supposed to be able to read the comments inserted. I can't read them on my desktop (which is why I still add them to the comments at the right) but I think it's because I have an older program on the desktop than on the laptop. At least, I hope y'all can see them...I wish I understood more about formatting in the SS program because I've found a few things I'd like to tweak for my purposes, but haven't figured out how.

I also try to go back and add everything to the initial post of the day. But, if it's confusing, maybe I need to rethink how I'm doing it...Thanks, Marje, for the idea :smile:

@Michelle - Hershey is always happy to make new buddies!
It's nice to have Joseph home for a few days. Sure have missed him being gone to school all year and now gone to camp pretty much all summer. It's hard on the old mama. I don't know about long-term relief, but I know Doug got short-term relief when that muscle relaxer knocked him out! Apparently, it's GOOD stuff!

The hovering over the square only works for the owner of the SS. For everyone else, you have to scroll all the way down and look up the comment number.

If you want to see what we see, just click on his SS in your condo and you can what I mean. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal if it's +4 or +4.5 but it can. Numbers can actually change that fast.

There is a way to do that so that everyone can see them. There must be, because I've seen SS where there's a small triangle in the cell, and when you hover, the comments pop up. I have no idea what the difference is but I'll try to find one.

Thanks, Carl. The way I did it was to right click on the cell and "insert comments." Please let me know if you find another way.

When I mouse over the "triangles" on this SS, the comments pop up. I am not sure why, but it could be because it was not saved/set up completely - you'll notice that the URL has "ccc" in the middle of it, instead of the "pub" that most people's has? That could be the reason. You could PM Kathryn and ask her to see if she's adding comments the same way you are? Her user name is "equine99".
