Morning I'm really liking Maggie's numbers on the new meter, even though they're not perfect, but she does seem semi-regulated. I must admit I feel more at home and in sync with everyone since switching to the human meter vs. the AT. Now where is my friend, Pat & Shadow, to give her the disappointing news that there will be no more meter comparisons except with a wonky number! :lol: Plus, not to mention the savings and a little more money to have a coffee when I'm out and about!
All is well with Maggie except no poo again. Other than the lb situation, she seems fine, chatty, playful. I'm giving her 1/8 tsp. twice a day and even a little more yesterday. Yesterday while at one of my fav vitamin/food health stores, I picked up a bottle of Slippery Elm Bark and may start it tonight, as I already gave her a dose of Miralax this morning. Maybe we'll have some action later. Mags does have a Vetty appt. this Monday. Wishing everyone a nice day.

Hi guys .. I think maggie's numbers look beautiful, just like her I hope the miralax and slippery elm bark do the trick for miss mags but it is nice to hear that she is feeling good in all other areas .. have a great day!

Beautiful start for Mags...and welcome to syncing up :lol: ! Honestly, the price of Confirm strips is addictive. I nearly went broke the first several months of Trix's diagnosis, when we were using the One Touch Ultra Mini. What a relieve with the price break on strips AND the Confirm is reliable!

Fingers crossed for the Zoomies today. C'mon, Maggie...you can do it!!!

:lol: :lol: :lol: on Pat and the meter comparisons - I so remember all that from way back. FUN! I am glad that you are happy with the new meter. Sure make it easier, n a way, doesn't it. Now you d have a few extra bucks for those outing with friends.

Good luck with the poo/miralax/etc. Hope the slippery elm back helps too. I hope for good poo report later on! :lol: :lol:

Nice start for Miss Mags today! She is well regulated & has been..Normal BG numbers 60-120, vets say 60-150...You are a fantastic bean...She is so lucky!
Moonie has been on miralax for a long time & I swear by it.--Hope it will help sweet Maggie--

Guess what! Maggie did have a little deposit; it wasn't much but a start. I don't know if she strained, as I was on the phone.

Hi Melissa, yes, that was it - out of sync with the meter talk. I still do need another back-up human meter; maybe the Micro would be a good one.

Hi Amy, yes, price of strips is addictive in comparison. I can't wait to order from ADW. I think Maggie heard you! She did a poo but no zoom zoom this time.

Hi Michelle, I do hope she sees some greens, and yes on the walk. It's only 62 degrees here and feels so refreshing. I just took a short walk to the recycling bin. Yes, remember Pat & Shadow and the fun we had with the meters. I could never sneak in a comparison without getting caught!

Hi Roni, thank so much. My Vet lhas commented that she's well regulated. I think the Miralax will be an ongoing thing for Mags. I didn't realize some of you use it every day.

I didn't notice the AT missing and thought those numbers we're a bit high for Maggie but now it makes sense!
