Good Morning World! Yesterday
AMPS 254
Shucks, broke our blue streak again but we'll try to hop back on that train today! It's nice to see more of these lower numbers FINALLY! KT's in fine form this morning altho' he's not really wanting to eat very well.
Gotta go get the gas tank for the Torino today - we pulled it out and took it to a radiator shop to have it steamed. We thought there was lots of rust in it but there really wasn't much - most of it was gooped shellac and that corn ethenol varnish. We didn't want to send rust down the lines to that Holley 4-barrel carb. We've replaced most of the gas lines and some of the vacuum lines. I get to put on new plug wires and change out the voltage regulator today if it doesn't get too hot.
All fuzzy feet are doing well this morning - Scruffs is a little poofey with fluid but hopefully that will go down today. Have to share a smile about Schniggles this morning. For those new people that may visit, Schniggles is an elderly pug was dumped by some uncaring person back in early May - she found her way here, starved and scared, where she'll happily stay for the rest of her 'forever'. She comes in for treats with the 'pups' - they sit up waiting for theirs. Yesterday she watched and watched, then here comes those front feet lifting off the ground TRYING to 'sit up' too. It's SO SO cute. She's fallen head over heels in love with DH over the last few days - she'll run to find him every time she comes in the main house. It sure helps his healing heart. He woke up saying 'Good Morning Lacey' this morning knowing he wasn't talking to a physical body and smiled - that's a HUGE step in his healing.
HUGS to all that visit today. Today I send special thoughts to Kim (kse) just 'cos my niggling little voice says she needs them....no idea why but I listen to those voices. Also thinking of Karen who should be dealing with her divorce about now...so hard....
