That Zener, always trying something new. He went below 50 last night and we gave him a bunch of honey-laced treats to bring him up, so we shaved this morning. As I sat down to test him, I thought "If he's high (as I expect he will be), I'll shoot through the bounce." Nope, we'll take that reduction now. We did give him a bit of cypro for appy stimulation last night. Thank goodness we have it when he goes low. We had a lovely rain last night so not much outdoor time. He had to settle for watching the Olympics with his beans.

Interesting letter by Atlas to the AVMA on their upcoming vote on a proposed policy to discourage raw pet food diets. Detective Poo reports that Maggie just left a prezzie after 2 days of no action. Who knew there is a feline constipation website? My buddy punkin is back to having liquid poos. Drat! Sending solid poo vines to punkin (and Julie). Gabby is starting the day in a very calm blue. Marje posted her fantastic video on giving subcutaneous fluids on YouTube, starring the very handsome Mr. Gus. Have a great Sunday LL!

Hi Liz,

It looks like you had a busy night. Good luck with the reduction. Racci had one yesterday after all-nighter. Zener has a nice amps. I hope he doesn't bounce.

I didn't know I could come here for all the news! Good deal.

Have a great day!

Anne here, taking over for Liz out on a bike ride! The Caturday night PJ party was a long one, so much Olympic watching happened. You can watch 24 hours a day, our cable provider has heaps of channels showing the games. Zener is celebrating the start of gymnastics at the Olympics with a bouncy floor routine today.

@Melanie - Liz is better than the small town Gazette for all the news! Thanks for hoping the mighty Z doesn't bounce, but it looks like he wasn't listening. We have paws crossed the reduction for Racci holds too.

@Helen - it was a lovely blue AMPS but not so pretty now... :?

@Pip - he has been having such lovely numbers! And we hope they come down again sooner than later.

We'll give the big guy a poke break until PMPS, he was such pin cushion last night and a real trooper through it all. cat_pet_icon

Hi Anne, I kept meaning to get over to your condo to welcome you back home. Are you slowly getting over the jet lag? It took me a while just from SD to PA, so I can imagine the jet lag for you. Thanks to Detective Poo for reporting on Maggie leaving a prezzie. :-D She's been a puzzle lately with the rear end issues.
Congrats on the reducie. I still haven't made it thru the Opening Ceremonies. I recorded it and watching off and on. I like the little bouncy emoticon but hope Zener settles into a nice slide! Have a nice day Anne.
Liz enjoy your bike ride.

Hi guys! What a great day yesterday - very nice, and congrats on the reducie! Zener, though, really - no need to bounce. You and Mannie been comparing notes again? I applaud you however, you kept your bounce to the yellow floor... Mannie however decided the floors way up there needed his inspection. Come on down guys!

@Ann & Maggie - thanks for the welcome back! I am slowly getting over jet lag. As much international travel as I do, one would think I would adjust more efficiently, but it takes me about 1 hour per day to adjust. And, the poo patrol is all about poo and "rear end issues" here! We haven't made it through the opening ceremony yet either, watching recorded bits at a time. Maybe we will have watched it all by closing!

@Roni - thanks for the encouragement for Zener's reduction. We have paws crossed Moonie is feeling better soon. :YMHUG:

@Michelle & Mannie - it was quite the day. He was very active while I was gone too, and each time Liz shaved he held. Wow! ohmygod_smile
Hey Mannie, I'm loving the Olympics and doing that springboardie thing. I thought I might see you on the diving platform today, where are you? Up on the 10 meter platform? - Zener

Last night's PJ party was tough because the jet lag caught up to me. I fell deep asleep about 8pm and then Zener decided to start the Olympic diving competition early. Liz did the tests while I slept for about 2 hours and then I took over until the wee hours of the morning. Zener did some supreme cat napping today and enjoyed the poke break. We're having a thunderstorm right now, so the kitties are thoroughly disgusted about the wet ground. They don't want no stinkin' wet paddy paws!

Here's to a calm and drama-free Sunday night, except for the Olympic drama of course! ;-)

Re: 7/29 Zener PMPS 266;+1 273

Congrats on the reduction! Looks like y'all had a busy night. We were up late too with Mr. Simon's bouncing. He watched some of the gymnastics tonight so I'm hoping he doesn't continue to want to bounce around! It is making me dizzy.

Anne, hope you get over the jet lag soon. It always takes me almost at least 3 days before I feel human again after a big trip.

Re: 7/29 Zener PMPS 266;+1 273

YAY! for pj parties!! Good luck with the reducie; hope he settles in nicely. Been feeling behind on forum news; thanks, Liz, for the catch-up!! :-D

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 7/29 Zener PMPS 266;+1 273

Hi guys,
Pretty nice day for the Z Man. I think he must enjoy watching the Olympics!

Have a great evening, and congrats on the reducie.

Ella & Rusty

Hey Z, I think it would be fun to play in the water polo competition. You in?

Re: 7/29 Zener PMPS 266;+1 273;+2 195;+3 194

Woo hoo, blue!

PMPS 266, 2nd cycle @1.0u, 1PP, 1/8 zantac, 1mg Ondansetron, 1/16t miralax, 1.4oz 10%
+1 273, 1.2oz 10%, 8 drops kidney liq
+2 195, 1PP, 3mg Zobaline, 0.65oz 10%
+3 194, 0.45oz 10%
ETA
+4 0.35oz 10%
+5 156, 0.35oz 10%

@Michelle & Mannie - Mannie wins the gold in diving tonight for sure. Maybe he and Zener can enter the synchronized diving?

@Georgia - it was a very busy night, sorry I didn't see you up too, would have invited you and Simon to the PJ party! Will keep paws crossed Simon does NOT start a crazy tumbling floor routine! Today was day 3 returning from Scotland, not sure that I'm feeling human just yet, but frozen custard tonight really helped!

@Libby & Hershey too - I'll be glad when the jet lag is over, then PJ parties won't be so hard! ;-)

@Ella - Zener loves the Olympics - lots of time with beans on the floor playing tent!

Nice to see the big guy getting down to blue in this cycle. Paws crossed this reducie will hold! We got an especially bad batch of MJ syringes in our latest box, about one good out of 12 bad, so frustrating. Liz has the calipers sorted and we are starting to use them, so we shall see how that goes.

my crystal ball predicts that mr zener is taking a bye on a pj party tonight! in the spirit of the Olympics Games, of course!

we're happy to report to Detective Poo that we had a solid result today from mr Punkin! ;-)

Thanks for the crystal ball reading julie! I am falling asleep here so was trying to calculate how fast he was dropping and whether I could go to bed or needed to stay up again. Jet lag makes me stupid.

Ah, CPC, solid poo, perhaps a happy crap dash will soon follow? ;-)

Ni ni LL! I-)
