Good Morning World! Yesterday
AMPS 253
We slept until 8:30am this morning!!! It's cloudy and COOL for a change - only 88! The fuzzy feets usually wake us up long before then but even THEY were all sleepy heads too. I think Sir KT ate last night's food about pm+10-11 handing me a food spike at AMPS.
Leo is adjusting to the different routine but still sits in the middle of the floor after dark hollering. He's got the LOUDEST voice that carries a looooong way. I brought him in yesterday to officially meet Pepper - he hissed and growled while Pepper just looked at him like "why all the fuss?". Even then I never saw a claw extend - KT's that way, VERY 'soft pawed'. He was just scared - not the bravest boy on the block but we don't need 'bravery' here....I know he truly isn't comfortable outside, he has to try to scare off anything that comes near him. He'll figure out soon that that wasn't truly 'fun', just 'different'. AND NO SPRAYING!!!! He hasn't sprayed since we got him fixed last week! I was truly hoping it would quickly break that, looks like SUCCESS!!!
Scruffy's (HCM/CHF Kitty) still eating! We usually go thru a day or two of decent eating then days of begging - so far it's been about a week of eating! THANKS to Kim (kse) sending us Miss Kitty's meds, we're still able to do full medicine doses as needed. He's not having to take lasix as often - the enalapril is supporting his heart enough to keep the fluid down! I brought him in yesterday during the storms again but this time let him roam in the room. Pepper 'kissed' him again - he's not really comfortable inside with them but he's getting better. He likes having a cat door to 'escape' when he feels the need, there's not one in that room.
