I changed to a new vial today to see if, by chance, the last bit of insulin in the other vial was getting weak or dead. There was only maybe 10 units left in it, we've been using it for over 100 days! We'll see where the day takes us. KT seems like he's feeling better today - at least he doesn't look like the last rose of Texas....he's eaten fairly well and is going back to bed.
As of today, Leo is now a FLOOR kitty! We tried the face to face meeting between him and Pepper with no cage or arms between....Pepper gave him a half hearted hiss then ignored him. She's been flirting with him for several days so didn't really expect too much 'noise'. Schniggles tries to butt in which upsets them both - it's funny, they both ignore Schnigs when it's just either one of them but when the 2 kitties are together, she upsets the applecart.
Scruffs took his last enalapril today - gotta visit vet to get more but they're SO expensive. I have about 28 that are compounded with fish but he doesn't like them AT ALL. I may have to figure out how to 'compound' them with fresh chicken and see if he'll take it. Kim's KittyGirl (kse) has been keeping him in meds for the last almost 2 months! THANK YOU AGAIN KIM! We still have Lasix from Karrie/Maverick too - THANK YOU TOO KARRIE!
